For Groups of 10 or more we do ask for a pre-order. We only have a small kitchen and knowing in advance allows us to provide the level of service and food that we pride ourselves on. We offer a selection of sandwiches on either white or granary bread or baguettes which are white and cooked to order:. Cheese and Pickle, Ham and Mustard, Egg Mayonnaise, Tuna Mayonnaise. At The Black Horse the team produce a varied selection of dishes including tradtional pub favourites such as Steak and Kidney Pie, Beer-battered Cod with Chips and Mushy Peas and Gloucester Old Spot Sausages and Mash. In addition, the specials board features seasonal, and where possible, locally sourced ingredients. During spring you will find local asparagus and in autumn/winter there is an abundance of locally shot game.
