Thursday, November 8, 2012. Visit to Mickey's Place. We spent an adventurous 3 days in Orlando, from Sunday through Wednesday morning, mostly to take Talia to Disney but also to take in a little warm weather. One of the new, neat features at Disney World is a "Photo Pass" system where photographers around the park take digital pictures for you, then scan a card afterwards to link those pictures to your account. Tuesday, December 25, 2012. Christmas Morning: Take 1. Talia's Christmas present to us was sleeping in until 9:15 - we had time to make coffee, clean up, and relax before she stumbled out of bed. But when she DID finally wake up, she flew down the steps and found us chilling in the living room. One of the best reactions of the day happened upon opening a gift from Aunt Ann, Uncle Dan, and Maddy. See for yourself. There you go, T! December 25, 2012 at 6:55 PM. Monday, April 1, 2013. Talia enjoyed Easter 2013 - see for yourself. The egg hunt was short-lived but still fun . It helped to have beautiful weather and Louie Loon pay a surprise visit. Tuesday, February 7, 2012. A very mild January in Midland allowed us to continue to frequent playgrounds! Of course, we did have a few snowy days where we built a snowman, played dress-up, and pretended it was warm by enjoying popsicles. During January, Talia continued to enjoy her weekly Gymnastics class, attended her very first birthday party (of her friend, not Mommy and Daddy's friends' kid), and fell in love with the Saginaw Spirit mascot. Tuesday, July 24, 2012. Talia's First Home Run. One of the perks of going to a Sunday Loons home game is that all kids are allowed to go on the field to run the bases. Talia jumped at the chance to do this, and we caught her on viddeo showing off her "wheels"! Look at the pure joy that's on her face (the picture is better than the video.) as she runs towards home plate to see Lou E. Loon! Awwww so cute Talia, I have watched it over and over.
