Life on 2.68 acres. The rest of our trip. September 3, 2015. The next morning we woke up to a lot of smoke. While I cooked breakfast, Harold started packing up the tent and all of our camping equipment. We got the suburban packed up and then headed out. We went to Challis and stopped for some ice. South of Challis we stopped at Bayhorse, a ghost town that was founded in 1877. It was a nice break to get out and walk around. This building had been sided and roofed with flattened cans. Life on 2.68 acres. It has been awhile. July 25, 2015. We have been enjoying some cooler weather the last couple of weeks. We have been in the 80s most of the time. Finally today, we finished all our her shopping that we are helping her with. She still has to buy her textbooks and laptop. About half way up. Close to the top. The hand grips were very hot....

Our Little Red Saltbox.A step back to a simpler time of living. Friday, April 10, 2015. April Keeper's of the Home. It's just that kind of day today. Sleet and freezing rain. Which for me, calls for footy pajamas! Last night we had our monthly Keeper's of the Home meeting. We had a wonderful time making homemade ricotta cheese and rosemary bread. This is the kit. We used for making the cheese. All you need to add is the milk. It's fun and easy.even if you have never made cheese before. Can you smell it?
