Saturday, October 29, 2011. Gel Medium Canvas Transfer - Angels. I've been working on several projects for an upcoming show, but my favorite project has been my canvas transfer. I started with a box of 4 canvases I bought at a garage sale. I'm always on the hunt for art supplies at garage sales.cheap! Tuesday, January 31, 2012. I love blue dishes.but my all time favorite is a set my husband gave me for Christmas in 1983. They are called "Denmark", and are made by Franciscan. Originally I received 8 place settings and a few serving pieces. But with all things we love.this pattern has been discontinued. I found these three pieces in a resell shop last week. I found this little gem along the curb! I'm sure they threw it out because of the old, dirty formica top! A fresh coat of paint, some dark glaze and decoupage over the formica! This old piece was badly scarred on the top and the finish was scratched. A complete sanding across the top and light sanding all over.
