I feel peer review is quite good although I am one of the students who is finding it difficult to move with others. I have not responed as I was expected by others because I feel confused. Sunday, January 27, 2008. 1) Peer review should be open because it gives room for discussion on performance improvement. 2) Grammar and punctuation should not be very strict because these two components are very difficult. 3) Writing on same topics will be helpful because we will have to discuss the topics as groups in class on Tuesdays and from the 4-5 topics then each student will then select his or her preference and this will continue to help on performance improvement. Saturday, February 16, 2008. Ndebele are a subculture found in Zimbabwe Africa. They originated from South Africa which is a neighbouring country of Zimbabwe. The Ndebele people fought the Shona who were the rightful owners of Zimbabwe and took a quarter of the country and settled themselves. Their customs and beliefs have continued to be different from the Shona. They have their own ways of dressing and language. They differ from the Shona in many ways. It started off with a summary of what the advertisers were selling and the appearance of the ad to give the audience an idea about what they looked like. I then analyzed the three ads using examples as evidence. It’s been a fairly cool summer here, and we’ve had our fair share of glorious weather. I have young hummingbirds visiting the feeder, still a bit fuzzy and all cute and funny.
