Monday, June 17, 2013. We got together with grandparents, great grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins for a week. (and I think everyone survived! We spent about a week in Destin. Before we got there, we HAD to stop in New Orleans and introduce the girls to Beignets! It was our official job as parents for them to know about these! Makeda afterwards said she had a party in her tummy! Then to burn off some of the sugar we walked to the NOLA aquarium. It was great, and a ton of fun! Even when you are 89!
