Book Review: Shatter Me. No one knows why Juliette's touch is fatal, but The Reestablishment has plans for her. Plans to use her as a weapon. But Juliette has plans of her own. After a lifetime without freedom, she's finally discovering a strength to fight back for the very first time—and to find a future with the one boy she thought she'd lost forever. All I ever wanted was to reach out and touch another human being not just with my hands but with my heart". Then we have Adam Kent:. Adam is one of the m...

Rating System | The Bookish Love

http://thebookishlove.blogspot.com/p/rating-system.html

Here's my rating system, with diamonds, because books hold a great value and are beautiful:. This book didn't have spark. It wasn't my cup of tea, and I definitely did not enjoy one single bit of it. It was ok. It could've been way better. It was probably poorly written, boring, with annoying characters, etc. I din't like it. If I had expectations about this book, they were never met. It was enjoyable, with decent writing, decent characters, etc. I liked it, but I was expecting more. 2 of 100 (2%).

I love the smell of new/old books. My kindle's name is Hermione. And I love her. I love rainy days. Chocolate. I adore it. I dislike my nose.

Saturday, March 8, 2014. Cannonball Read VI: The Undiscovered Country - Entry 1, "Gone Girl" by Gillian Flynn. The Bookish Kitchen | A nerdy food blog about nerdy things and cooking gluten free + low carb

March 10, 2014. Welcome esteemed (potential) readers to the bookish kitchen! To start with, some personal albeit non-identifying background information! 8221; or “you don’t really NEED to lose weight, do you? 8221; or my personal favorite “you shouldn’t worry so much.” My family thought I was going to kill myself by carb cutting too low to be ‘healthy’ (the joke is on them though since by April they all switched to a ketogenic diet also! The Bookish Manicurist

Wednesday, 5 August 2015. Burn by Paula Weston. This post contains a review and a bookish manicure. Burn (The Repahim #4). Published June 24, 2015 by Text Publishing. From the blurb: Gaby remembers everything. For a year she believed she was a backpacker chilling out in Pandanus Beach. Working at the library. Getting over the accident that killed her twin brother. More importantly, she remembers why she’s spent the last ten years wanting to seriously hurt Rafa. I know angels are a sticky point for a lot ...
