Friday, July 31, 2015. This year, we made patriotic t-shirts with star designs and dots. We had a brunch so Bando could eat before going to work. Then, we swam and swam and swam. Dad made cool Wipeout courses for the kids. Stephen also cooked RJ's BBQ chicken. Po kinda liked it. {This was in the kitchen while we were trying to clean up AFTER already eating! We rested up and then headed over to the George Bush Library to listen to the symphony play patriotic music until it was dark enough for fireworks.

Monday, August 24, 2015. First Day of School. Our boys were all ready for school to start back up! It's so exciting that Kyle and Ryan get to be at the same school. We had our clothes all picked out and lunches packed, and the boys were off for their first day. We walked Ryan to his class first. There were some tears from some other Kindergartners, but not Little Po! He was ready to start coloring and was excited to be find his desk! Ryan had a name tag and a lunch number, too! We started off with a spread of tasty appetizers: salami/cheese/cracker plate, relish tray and deviled eggs, queso, corn relish dip, fritos and bean dip, and Liz's cheese ball and crackers. Wednesday, July 30, 2014. On Kyle's birthday, we saw Planes: Fire and Rescue. We also had a special dinner and a small, family dinner party at the house.
