grumpy but gorgeous: May 2012
http://grumpy-but-gorgeous.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
May 9, 2012. 5 pm on the corner of Krucza and Wilcza. El Santino and Miss Piggy chillin' in the afternoon sun, waiting for snow in Havana. In the meantime, we were talking plane tickets, research plans, robots, dance, work and chocolate cupcakes. Spring afternoons in Warsaw, when the air smells of fresh energy and endless possibilities, have always been one of the main reasons why I love this city so much. And today was no exception. May 1, 2012. Istanbul in a nutshell. Taksim and its almost surreal cont...

August 21, 2012. And speaking of travel and Poland, I came across this text I wrote. grumpy but gorgeous: Euro 2012: first weekend in Warsaw
http://grumpy-but-gorgeous.blogspot.com/2012/06/euro-2012-first-weekend-in-warsaw.html
June 10, 2012. Euro 2012: first weekend in Warsaw. I've never been much of a sports fan and sport events have not exactly ranked high on my "to do" / "to see" lists. Not even when faced with my obvious obsession with dancesport, which I have always labeled as art rather than sport, despite all evidence that points otherwise. Labels: so she thought. Best write-up about the footie that Ive seen yet - keep it coming! June 11, 2012. June 13, 2012. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Aspiring dance anthropolo...

grumpy but gorgeous: June 2012
http://grumpy-but-gorgeous.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
June 13, 2012. It is a well-known fact that in Romania the media have a soft spot for drama and exaggeration. Sometimes when reading the morning news I have to double check with family and friends back home to make sure that the country is not on the brink of extinction or civil war. PS Who didn't see this coming? And did anybody see this coming? Labels: so she thought. June 10, 2012. Euro 2012: first weekend in Warsaw. But every two years I get into this football frenzy which I can't really explain or f...

grumpy but gorgeous: October 2012
http://grumpy-but-gorgeous.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
October 21, 2012. The unbearable blurriness of being. The underlying theme of the story of my trip to Elblag, where I ran away for the weekend to watch a dance competition, was the continuation of my "explore Poland like a backpacking hippie without actually looking like a backpacking hippie" plan. grumpy but gorgeous: Let the great world spin
http://grumpy-but-gorgeous.blogspot.com/2012/06/let-great-world-spin.html
June 6, 2012. Let the great world spin. One year later, we're anxious to go back, with improved dancing skills, emotions under control, a plan to save our bodies from demineralization, ready to avoid some of the mistakes we made last year and looking forward to repeating some others. Not in vain the distance beacons. Forward, forward let us range. Let the great world spin for ever down the ringing grooves of change. Alfred Tennyson, Locksley Hall). O, I see the crescent promise of your spirit hath not set.

grumpy but gorgeous: 13
http://grumpy-but-gorgeous.blogspot.com/2012/08/13.html
August 15, 2012. On the 13th of August, El Santino was stolen and - the horror! He was stolen from my block, where he was safely fastened and quietly waiting to take me to dance practice. As if this wasn't enough, gone were my wonderful red dance shoes and my panther dress. I'm pretty sure El Santino is gone for good and no matter how heartbreaking this is I have to accept facts. Ero he was. And whoever tries dancing in my perfect Latin shoes, I hope you won't even do the basic right. Bourbon kid and co.

This website, thebookwoods.com and the channel on Youtube.com is a project run by six students at NTNU (Norwegian University of Science and Technology) in Trondheim, Norway. It started as a group project design to show how to handle and convert different types of data. Story * often the best distiller of reluctant truth. Odyssey Of The Rising. Sunday, August 18, 2013. View From The Playroom. Davey Dickson entered the student union, almost oblivious to everything that was going on there. He was entirely immersed in the music streaming through his ear buds as he headed for the familiar group that he knew would be just up the stairs in the lounge area. He was tied to the group through the basketball program, being one of the team’s managers. 8220;Of all days, who cares?
