Monday, January 30, 2012. Chess and the beach-homeschool with the Frenches. This was probably one of my most favorite weeks of homeschool so far. I invited Sis Kullberg, in our ward, to teach the kids how to play chess for history (knights would play chess in their castles while passing time between battles). The kids absolutely love it! Monday, March 19, 2012. Bikes, St Patricks, Cake Auction. Last week all three of our kids learned how to ride a bike! After all these years of practicing, they could do it so quickly this week. I really think the balance bikes helped a ton. I did a leprechaun quesadilla, rainbow fruit kabobs, and rainbow goldfish. I also made rainbow cupcakes. Sunday, January 27, 2013. For Rob's birthday, we woke him up with breakfast in bed and gifts. Isabelle made him a little wallet out of felt that she had completely done herself. She found the fabric, designed it, and sewed it all on her own. She is so sweet! Austin and Robert made him cards. For dinner he requested the ribs his dad would made at home, sweet pecan roll, and french silk pie. I filled in the rest. It turned out yummy. :). We invited the Trevisanuts to join us for pie. Monday, October 29, 2012. Playtime, and Party! Ok, I just found this pic from about a month or so ago, Rob and I went to a Jim Gaffigan comedy show together and it was so fun! Here, we had a stake service project to pick carrots. I found some that were in love. This was the plan for Austin's Abe Lincoln costume. I just can't get Yubby dibby dibby dibby dibby dibby dibby dum out of my head when I see this pic though. Rob went on a business trip and tried frog's leg and alligator- yum. Fall is finally here!

Saturday, January 7, 2012. We had a wonderful Christmas this year- just the 'Aho fam. Christmas is extra fun and extra magical with children in the home! Chirstmas Eve Turkey Dinner. Time to make the cookies! Instead of cutting shapes this year we just did round sugar cookies and decorated them. This year we did Christmas Eve Jammies And Snuggies :). Yay, Christmas morning! The kids were pretty reasonable in their waking- 7:30. This is my favorite pic of Austin :). Nase putting together Leka's doll house.
