One could say « Forever Braves
http://thebravesgirl.mlblogs.com/2006/06/04/one-could-say
Living in Phillies territory doesn't make me ashamed to be a Braves fan. It makes me proud…. One could say that I am extremely frustrated about now, and yeah people, I am. But when we get amazing starting pitching, we can’t get a run to save our lives. When we score runs like crazy, then the defense is not showing up. Take your pick, its been happening. The fact that we are only 6 out is a miracle. Posted on June 4, 2006 at 5:32 pm. Who’s going to the All-Star Game from the Bravos? On June 4, 2006 8:06 pm.
Congratulations, Jeff Blauser! « Forever Braves

Living in Phillies territory doesn't make me ashamed to be a Braves fan. It makes me proud…. Congratulations, Jeff Blauser! ATLANTA — More than a decade ago, Jeff Blauser was known as a gritty shortstop who played a large part in the success the Braves had throughout the 1990s. His manager Bobby Cox always viewed him as hard-working, knowledgeable player who had the makings to one day be a successful manager in the professional ranks. Blauser’s promotion, which was announced Wednesday afternoon, wa...
Some thoughts « Forever Braves
http://thebravesgirl.mlblogs.com/2006/04/11/some-thoughts
Living in Phillies territory doesn't make me ashamed to be a Braves fan. It makes me proud…. First of all, I have to say how excited I am because in 22 days, the Braves have their first game in Philly. It is only a two game series, but I don’t care. It will be a blast, no matter what! So basically, it’s looking good so far. I think taking two out of three in the season’s first series was a real boost. Here’s to more blogging and Braves. Posted on April 11, 2006 at 3:05 pm. Not going to be your year.
Won’t back down « Forever Braves
http://thebravesgirl.mlblogs.com/2006/04/08/wont-back-down
Living in Phillies territory doesn't make me ashamed to be a Braves fan. It makes me proud…. Won’t back down. If memory serves me correctly, it was six walks, a hit batter, two singles, a double, a manger ejected, and off and on rain. And that was in just one half of an inning. Now I am sitting here watching the Giants kill the Braves 8-0. So if we can go home with a .500 or better mark, then I am satisfied. No I won’t back down. No I won’t back down. Posted on April 8, 2006 at 2:30 pm. Bah, bah, bah.
Frenchy and Smoltzie are back « Forever Braves
http://thebravesgirl.mlblogs.com/2006/04/16/frenchy-and-smoltzie-are-back
Living in Phillies territory doesn't make me ashamed to be a Braves fan. It makes me proud…. Frenchy and Smoltzie are back. Well, there’s two of our players back in the swing of things. It’d figure that Jeff Francoeur would suddenly snap out of his slump, and I am sure glad he is hitting the home runs while he is at it. Way to go, Frenchy! Sophomore slump is officially history. Or so I think. Hmmm. Go Braves, go! Posted on April 16, 2006 at 8:04 am. On August 9, 2006 12:37 pm. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

World Series Thoughts « Catch 22 for Blue
http://catch22forblue.mlblogs.com/2005/10/26/world-series-thoughts
Catch 22 for Blue. David Dellucci's Louisiana Lagniappe 22 for Hurricane Katrina Relief. His last two homeruns given up remind me of the 2001 World Series in which our closer for the Diamondbacks was Byung-Hung Kim. He gave up two homeruns on two consecutive nights with two outs in World Series games 4 and 5 which allowed the Yankees to take the series the distance. We still won that World Series so don’t count Houston out. Do you think the Series is over? How can Houston come back? OK here it goes. ...

The Braves Beat
Right now the Phillies are losing. Their pitching is just dreadful and they are keeping everyone in the division race when they could have been putting everyone out of it. The Mets are having to adjust to their giant new park, Citi Field, and trying to make up for the injuries in Carlos Delgado, Carlos Beltran, and Jose Reyes. This leaves David Wright to try and keep his team in it. The starting pitching is not to great either. So Atlanta is easily one move away from taking this division by storm. Well i...

The Braves Dugout
The Braves signed former All-Star reliever Jim Johnson to a one-year, $1.6 million contract Wednesday, hoping the former All-Star closer can return to something resembling his pre-2014 form. Johnson, 31, led the major leagues in saves with 51 in 2012 as Baltimore’s closer, and tied Braves closer Craig Kimbrel with a majors-leading 50 saves in 2013. But the 6-foot-6 right-hander’s decline last season was precipitous, his ERA more than doubling to 7.09 in 54 appearances with Oakland and Detroit. Before mov...
