Exceeding Abundantly: December 2011
http://exceedingabundantly320.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
About me and my boys. Tuesday, December 20, 2011. I’m dreaming of…. The other day the boys asked me what a “white” Christmas was. So I explained it meant SNOW. That everything was covered with beautiful, powdery melt-in-your-mouth, freezing cold, snow. My explanation they seemed confused. I guess it’s not a wonder that they didn’t understand. What is up with this place called the South? And why don’t we have SNOW? No snow. It’s not Christmas.”. Links to this post. Monday, December 19, 2011. It was a litt...

Exceeding Abundantly: Packed Up
http://exceedingabundantly320.blogspot.com/2013/04/packed-up.html
About me and my boys. Friday, April 5, 2013. This past week we closed on our new house and began life as home owners again. We've been renting for the past 3 1/2 years, and between living in Missouri, North Carolina and now way out West, there was no reason to buy until we knew we'd be settled. And so. here we are. Settled. Well, aside from the mountains of boxes in every room. Haha. But truly, we are well on our way to being settled. We're putting down roots. We're calling a house our own.

Exceeding Abundantly: June 2012
http://exceedingabundantly320.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
About me and my boys. Thursday, June 14, 2012. I’ve always loved the rain. I know that growing up in the Pacific Northwest plays a big part in that. It was always raining there and most locals learn to love it. And love it, I did. I spent nearly 20 years of my life in the beautiful state of Washington and came to love the drizzles, the steady drip-drop that soothed me to sleep, and most of all the torrential downpours. And then off they went. Or… off. Seeing their delight in the rain took me back. I was ...

Exceeding Abundantly: March 2012

About me and my boys. Wednesday, March 14, 2012. Nick completed his 20 month Company Command this morning! Probably the most beautiful part was that mid speech, when it would have been fitting to boast about his great accomplishment and what he has done for this Company, he told everyone, from his soldiers to the very high ranking officials who sat in the stands, that the most important thing he did for the Company as its Commander was to pray. And do you see why I got teary eyed? We were deeply touched ...

Exceeding Abundantly: Sweet sweet sweetness
http://exceedingabundantly320.blogspot.com/2013/01/sweet-sweet-sweetness.html
About me and my boys. Thursday, January 24, 2013. I know you’ve been waiting for these sweet sweet pictures of this sweet sweet guy. Especially you, Mom. While I can’t say that life’s been terribly busy, it has been busy. Perhaps more of a getting-into-a-routine type busy, than a my-schedule-is-so-packed type busy. So…instead of running too and fro with things outside the home, we’ve been able to adjust to our new home and to have an inward focus. And then we moved the following week, then took a week to...

Exceeding Abundantly: May 2012

About me and my boys. Wednesday, May 23, 2012. New Do and Week 22. The news of the next boy on the way, and the reminder that it is going to be another hot Southern summer, prompted me to get my long hair chopped off and restyled to make me feel super feminine and super cool (as in, not hot). This shorter style will be so much easier to manage and gives me a fresh new look too, don’t you think? As I said, I like it a lot. Oh boy, a new do and week 22… it’s a great place to be. Links to this post. Well, t...

Exceeding Abundantly: November 2012

About me and my boys. Thursday, November 22, 2012. Nothing beats a Sunday afternoon nap. except maybe worshipping the Lord at church. I'm so thankful for both- one day in seven set aside for worship and rest! Links to this post. Tuesday, November 13, 2012. I always wondered what I’d do if I had a skinny baby. Probably freak out just a little. It never takes long before the infamous family double chin appears. Doesn’t he wear it well? Oooh, I just love my little double chinned boy. Links to this post.

Cathy's Chatter: May 2015
http://cathyschatterreview.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 31, 2015. I like to blog when I have photos to show off! I took a short vacation (spur of the minute) a week ago to go home to Vermont to check on my Mom. Of course that also meant spending some wonderful time with my two sisters and my youngest brother! The thing with times like these are they are never long enough! I suffer with a psychological condition called "Delusional Thought Process"! I always think I can cram WAY more into my time at home than what is humanly possible - hahaha! We ha...

Cathy's Chatter: Summertime Sewing
http://cathyschatterreview.blogspot.com/2014/06/summertime-sewing.html
Sunday, June 29, 2014. Sooo, therapy for me is cranking up the Southern Gospel music and sitting at my sewing machine. In my last post, I mentioned I had a two week trip for work to Denver and was planning on getting some sewing done. Well, I DID! A wonderful lady named Darcy lent me her sewing machine and I was able to put a small dent in this quilt that I started almost 10 years ago. Here are some photos:. This is Darcy's Sewing machine. She said it was the first purchase she ever made on credit! Yep -...

Cathy's Chatter: October 2013
http://cathyschatterreview.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 27, 2013. What a crazy weekend! Sister Diane and I are both en route to our homes (different directions) now after having a great weekend together in Houston. Our creative juices - right along with our silly and zany ones - were running amuck! We took educational and inspirational classes, visited vendor booths, and met some wonderful people who had all kinds of nuggets of gold to share with us. I am planning on blaming Diane but she says . . This was just tooo funny to pass up! Opening s...
