The Brewster Family

Thursday, September 5, 2013. The kids are back to school after a busy, but fun-filled summer. During the last few weeks of summer, it was plain to see that they were all getting the 'itch' to get back to a schedule. Matthew has begun 11th grade, Tyler in 10th and Amber in 7th. Hard to believe! Hockey and dance begin, in full swing, next week. My motto for the Brewsters? Organized Chaos'. That's how we roll. Sunday, September 1, 2013. Friday, January 13, 2012. Amber does dance and loves it! Way to go girl!

The Brewster Family: December 2010

http://thebrewsterfamily1.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html

Thursday, December 23, 2010. We begin with the traditional gingerbread houses every year. Last year, Anna (my niece) was finally old enough to join the chaos. Grammy does the majority of the prep work, as far as getting the frosting, candy and boards ready. Then, the ever so crazy building begins. Typically, there is frosting and candy EVERYWHERE! Not to mention, the "I don't feel very good(s)", from all of them.hmmm, wonder why? The one for me, and one for my house is only fun for so long! During the Ch...

The Brewster Family: Happy 2012!

http://thebrewsterfamily1.blogspot.com/2012/01/happy-2012.html

Friday, January 13, 2012. The Brewster's have started the new year rolling right along from where we left off before Christmas vacation. It seems like the break was hardly long enough. Why does it always seem you need a vacation from your vacation? We are eye-brow deep in hockey, lacrosse and dance. Matt (as a freshman) made the varsity hockey team, and boy is it busy! Ty has an amazing natural athletic ability and he is so much fun to watch! Amber does dance and loves it! Way to go girl!

Has it really been 2 months since my last post? Geeze, how time flies! Well, if you live in New England you are looking out your window today and thinking."really? The Brewster Family: No power!

http://thebrewsterfamily1.blogspot.com/2011/11/no-power.html

Friday, November 4, 2011. We were without power for 5 days, as a result of New Hampshire's fall snow storm. The first snow of the winter fell on October 3oth. We were blanketed with 24 inches of snow! As for now, we are back to reality with the luxuries of life. Although I must say, after a week with out power, we plan to make more time for games and less time for T.V. Amazing how something good and positive can come from a desperate situation! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I am thankful for.

The Brewster Blog

Catch my thoughts on topical and sometimes random issues here. Monday, August 16, 2010. A Con Man on the Streets of Gallery Place. The young man is handsome, hauntingly so. He has bold, direct Eastern European facial features and short-cropped black hair. When he told me he was a Marine, speaking in rapid-fire and respectful words, it was convincing. Stopping me on the sidewalk last week ("Excuse me, Sir, if I might have just a little of your time, Sir! Flash forward a week. I'm walking down the stre...
