What the cousins are up to now! Monday, April 7, 2014. What an outstanding save! Hockey season has started again - at least for the seniors. Juniors don't start till May, although training is well under way. We had club day weekend before last and the Masters grass team played a scratch match with the Men's 1 turf team. What the cousins are up to now! Friday, December 14, 2012. On my own.and loving it! I have a whole week to myself - no kids, no husband, just the dogs. Just how did I manage that, you ask? I sent them to New Zealand a week early. I made the huge sacrifice to work an extra week, and keep the dogs out of the kennel for a bit longer as well - while they took advantage of the cheaper flights before the Christmas price hike. Just this side of chaos. Thursday, July 11, 2013. School hols - the Farm. We had the opportunity to go to the farm for a few days this week and it was fabulous as always. I haven't been there in the middle of winter like this before, though the kids and I spent nearly two weeks. There at the END of winter back in 2011. The fog/mist seemed to roll in off the river late in the afternoon, then in the morning we were completely surrounded. And more walks when the fog did eventually lift. This was us today.

What the cousins are up to now! Sunday, January 13, 2013. Miss 14 made some yummy orange melting moment biscuits. Blondie and a friend made double gingerbread biscuits - tinkering with the recipe as they went, because as they said, "How can you have gingerbread cookies with no ginger in the recipe? And this is the remains of a batch of triple cheese scones (tasty, Parmesan and fetta) that I made to go with cup of soups for dinner. The rest have gone in the freezer for school lunches.
