Wednesday, September 26, 2012. My Day in Numbers. Today was one of those days. You know? The kind that become insanely busy without your permission. Months ago, I agreed to feed the high school teachers for parent teacher conferences. I was prepared for that. Everything else just so happened to fall into the calendar today. So here's my day in numbers:. 7 items on my agenda. 5 kids shuffled back and forth. 10 minutes at home. 18 minutes cheering for son. 2 class parties planned. 4 loads of laundry.

Friday, October 28, 2011. As a mom of six spirited children, I've learned to tune out most of the chaos that fills our home on a full-time basis. This includes, but is not limited to: smoke detectors' low battery alarms, door knocking, crying kids, phones ringing, and children fighting. For this reason, I'd like to ask all the members of my household to please remember this: when the oven timer buzzes, please either turn it off and remove the contents, or come find me and tell me the baked goods are done.

Wednesday, May 30, 2012. I know I say that I want to keep up with this blog better every time I post, and each and every time I end up failing miserably. Sorry. What can I say? I'm no blogger. Wednesday, October 6, 2010. Where has the time gone? Over a year this time! I really AM a slacker when it comes to blogging. Well, Brexton Kyler Hassie was born on April 28th earlier this year and it is hard to believe that he is already 5 months old! He is such a good baby and a handsome one too! We are pretty sure he's teething since he is turning our house into a lake. Justin and I bought our first house earlier this year and got moved in about a week before Brex was born (talk about bad timing)!

Friday, May 1, 2009. So ignore that last post. Justin talked to the credit union with one last attempt, and they said that now they WILL finance us! If only they could have understood from the beginning. So we get to keep the Jetta after all and we don't have to spend all weekend driving and wasting gas!
