The first of two. The journey of us. Sometimes exciting, sometimes not so much. Tuesday, August 18, 2009. Better late than never. Kate Allison was born at 12:25 on Monday, July 20th. We arrived at the hospital around 10:00 am to get prepped for surgery. The section went great and Kate was perfect. She was smaller than I expected, since I had an ultrasound 10 days earlier and they estimated she was 6 pounds and 9 ounces. So we thought she would be over 7 pounds by birth! The first of two. The journey of us. Sometimes exciting, sometimes not so much. Friday, July 25, 2008. So last night we went to Wal-Mart to get the bed. I pulled four possible bed sets, Dora the Explorer, Elmo, Mickey Mouse and Princesses. She knew right away which one she wanted, Dora. So in the buggy it went. We washed it when we got home so it would be all soft and smell good. The ever so reliable daddy put the bed together. She jumped right in, said good night many times and said she was sleepy.
