Wednesday, June 2, 2010. My girls loved going to Baby Animal Days! Ava's favorite were the baby bears. They were so cute! Lyla seemed to just like everything! She wasn't scared to touch anything she could get her hands on. The poor animals were probably scared of my kids. Ava was holding one of the baby ducks and got a little scared and decided to throw it a few feet. :) We had a fun day! Saturday, May 22, 2010. Ava loved taking dance this year. She is super sad it is over. Her favorite movie to watch in the car while were driving is her dance recital. She is learning all the other groups dances, its so cute. Ava can't wait to start back up again. Britt, Ben and Mack. What a beautiful little Ava. Saturday, May 22, 2010. There was no question that Lyla knew it was her special day. She had a little attitude about her thinking she was incharge! For her party we did the balloon thing. When you are a 1 year old whats more fun than a room full of balloons as big as you to play with. If Ava had her way she would of had a room full of hands everywhere. Welcome to Motherhood!

Tuesday, November 11, 2008. Our family is complete and I feel complete. I love saying "we have 2 girls". It just never felt right to say "we have 1 daughter"-that just sounded so empty, with the loss of Lauren. But, 2 girls, it sounds and feels right. We are adjusting. Emily is doing really really good. Maddie's First Field Trip. Maddie and I got to go to the Henrietta Creek Apple Orchard last week. We had a great time. Maddie got to ride on the bus and she was so excited until she actually rode on the bus! She begged me to not make her ride back to school on the bus. She loved seeing the little chicks!

Friday, November 20, 2009. We spent the last 5 months being caretakers for a wonderfully warm and cozy house, but then the owner had to go and return! We are living large! We also have great neighbors our age. The woman is a painter and the man makes homemade beer. We live right on the coast of the river now, the one in the pictures, so in the summer the kids can go swimming in turquoise, crystal clear water. I can not wait for grandparent hugs for the kids…there is nothing better! As always, keep writin...

The Brown Family Bulletin. Monday, September 8, 2008. Camping With the King Family. On Labor Day Weekend, we went camping with the rest of the King Family. Since both Sara and Sunnie refuse to use the bathroom out in the woods, we bought a 5th wheel trailer so we could go camping one weekend.
