After touring the Parthenon and Mars Hill, we got to go down to the ruins of the ancient city of Athens. Friday, August 6, 2010. What made Delphi truly a special stop to me, and what makes it a significant location in New Testament studies is its claim as home to the Gallio Inscription. This particular artifact establishes the date when Paul was in Corinth on his second missionary journey, and gives us a likely framework for dating all of Paul's ministry! Friday, July 10, 2009. This cave is held by the Catholic church to be the location where John received the vision of the Revelation. Though this is a bit fanciful, it does serve to help you think about what it may have been like for John to write there as a prisoner. The Country Club of Little Rock is allowing me to subject its patrons to pain and torture through personal training. My first client is tomorrow at 6:30 am So all those days of working for free in the Arkansas Razorback weight room finally lead to a paycheck.
