The Busy Beehive: August 2007
http://thebusybeehive.blogspot.com/2007_08_01_archive.html
A stitcher's life in the Beehive State. Wednesday, August 15, 2007. The Mailman is My Friend. I ordered three charts from Crabapple Hill Studios. I purchased "Winter Wonderland", "Vintage Strawberry Pinkeep", and "Summer Pears". Who knows when I'll work on them really, but I knew I had to pick up the quilt pattern for "Winter Wonderland". My goal is to get the fabric by the Christmas break, so I can begin the stitching while I have a few days off. Monday, August 06, 2007. 1 Where is your Cellphone? Of co...

The Busy Beehive: January 2007
http://thebusybeehive.blogspot.com/2007_01_01_archive.html
A stitcher's life in the Beehive State. Monday, January 29, 2007. Monday, January 22, 2007. Progress and a Diversion. I did manage to stitch a bit on TMOM, and took a snapshot. The colors aren't quite right in this pic, but oh well. I'm not sure I'll get this one finished by my goal, since it's so huge. And, since I needed a diversion, I started SB's "Be Smart". I don't have a good pic of that one, so I'll post one later. La-D-Da, 2006 JCS Ornament - Christmas Cardinal COMPLET. Drawn Thread, First Snow.

http://thebusybeehive.blogspot.com/2007_05_01_archive.html
A stitcher's life in the Beehive State. Saturday, May 19, 2007. A Smidgeon of Progress. I have made some progress on Ellen Chester's needlebook from A Needleworker's Sampler Huswif project. I really enjoyed the class, and was able to finish most of the bands during class. I've completed the rest since then. The picture isn't great, but you get the idea. And, when I was in Salt Lake last week, I picked up a new Drawn Thread release from the Craft Center. Here are the sets for the three bags I'm going to m...

The Busy Beehive: June 2007
http://thebusybeehive.blogspot.com/2007_06_01_archive.html
A stitcher's life in the Beehive State. Sunday, June 24, 2007. I just love how my "Love Letters" sampler by EEF is coming along. I promised pics so here they are:. And, here's a close-up. I'm using two strands, and decided that on the fruit, I would do a more textured stitch. Not sure if I love it, but it's there, and I'm leaving it! I am also changing the phrase on the left side of the heart to "love one another", instead of "be true". I'll leave "be kind" on the other side. Friday, June 22, 2007. I've ...

The Busy Beehive: Oh... I so need a stitching weekend!
http://thebusybeehive.blogspot.com/2008/02/oh-i-so-need-stitching-weekend.html
A stitcher's life in the Beehive State. Thursday, February 14, 2008. Oh I so need a stitching weekend! And, she surprised me this morning in my lunch (don't I have a great mom. I really am an adult, but it's so nice to have her around still). She put in a handmade card, and a little handmade paper box that was filled with chocolate. And, she asked when I'd be home tonight from school. She has a nice steak dinner planned! Who needs a husband? Oh, and I'm so excited! I did also order a little late Valentin...

The Busy Beehive: Slight Stash Enhancement
http://thebusybeehive.blogspot.com/2008/02/slight-stash-enhancement.html
A stitcher's life in the Beehive State. Sunday, February 10, 2008. While at the Craft Center. I was able to see some fellow Swans, and to browse a bit. In addition to the scroll rods, I picked up a few other things. OH, you knew THAT was coming, didn't you! I have always looked at the first one LHN produced and for some reason, I didn't like it that much. But, I really like this new one, and so it came home with me, along with the CC threads for it. After that stop, we headed to Pine Needles. I'm still w...

The Busy Beehive: Help Me Decide
http://thebusybeehive.blogspot.com/2008/02/help-me-decide.html
A stitcher's life in the Beehive State. Friday, February 08, 2008. With Nashville Market releases making me all excited for new stash, and recent purchases of the Mary Busby quaker repro and other fine things, I think I need some help in determining just where I'll put my money first. I really shouldn't order everything at once! So, I borrowed a trick from Melissa and have added the following poll:. Could be pretty funny. Let me know by voting! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
