After four weeks of patient instruction, I've completed Wilton's Basketweave cake course. As always, there were surprises along the way. My favorite was the batch of flowers I created with what I believed to be royal icing. Hmmm, I don't remember royal icing flowers growing and expanding like this when I was in class. I decided to taste the "icing," only to discover.cream cheese frosting. Dang, I have got to start labeling my frostings. Fall is in the Air. This IS the South, folks. Ah, hah, I got one!
