Growing by Degrees: Our first big decision
http://nathanandabby.blogspot.com/2008/01/our-first-big-decision.html
God is growing our family, our hearts, and our understanding of Him, and He didn't even wait for us to finish school first. That's a good thing.we're going to be here a while. Tuesday, January 15, 2008. Our first big decision. We would of course continue to be extremely grateful for any prayers you offer on our behalf. Some specific things to pray for are:. That we will trust that God will provide for all of our needs as we walk down this "unpredictable" path - financially, emotionally, relationally, and...

God is growing our family, our hearts, and our understanding of Him, and He didn't even wait for us to finish school first. That's a good thing.we're going to be here a while. Monday, June 30, 2008. Attack of the June bugs. It's easy to accept the good stuff. It's a little bit more difficult when months like June happen. June was not a month of sorrow and suffering, but it sure was a month of inconvenience and frustration. See, it's easy to accept the good stuff. We like the good stuff. I like ha...We ha...

Growing by Degrees: Praying for our Bonsai Bush

God is growing our family, our hearts, and our understanding of Him, and He didn't even wait for us to finish school first. That's a good thing.we're going to be here a while. Monday, January 31, 2011. Praying for our Bonsai Bush. We pray every day that God would mold and shape Judah's personality to be usable for His kingdom and His glory. We see so much in our son that we know the Lord can use, but we also know the world will try to abuse these same traits given the chance. We have now added a new aspe...

The Smiths: November 2008
http://derrickandmeghansmith.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 17, 2008. MoMo has proudly voted in his first election! I asked the women running the polling place if I could take a picture of him with me in the booth - they said no, so we opted for a picture outside of the school. It was very important to me to take him out of his car seat and hold him while he voted. His first civic duty! Saturday, November 1, 2008. No Trick, All Treat. He had too many cute outfits for him to only wear one. So he was Derrick, a ghost and a pumpkin and a burrito!

The Smiths: September 2008
http://derrickandmeghansmith.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 23, 2008. MoMo doesn't like photo shoots. So we've tried to dress him up and take cute pictures but MoMo has made it very clear that he does NOT like this. (See below pictures). Maybe he is objecting to the fact that it is not even October yet and we are trying to take Halloween pictures. This is ironic coming from the person who gets mad at the stores for putting up Christmas stuff in July. So finally we tried to the really cute winter hat. MoMo would have none of this either. PS - is...

Erickson's Blog: Back in Minnesota Again
http://mattandkristinerickson.blogspot.com/2010/02/back-in-minnesota-again.html
We are a young family of 5. The three girls certainly keep us busy. Tuesday, February 23, 2010. Back in Minnesota Again. Since we've been back here, it's been pretty cold (compared to what we were used to in Sweden) and we've had a decent amount of snow. And we're loving it! I've been working on doing a lot of homemade projects in addition to the regular cooking. That means all of our bread (gluten and gluten-free), yogurt, buttermilk and granola is homemade. It's fun to do with the girls and the...Subsc...

Well, we've been in Colorado for over 3 weeks now and are really feeling comfortable and settled in. The move from Minnesota was not exactly fun (when is packing and moving ever fun? But the 2 day drive to CO went off without a hitch. The girls were just fine and even got to ride in Daddy's big, yellow truck! Packing boxes in Minnesota. Sonja in the moving truck.
