What DID happen to the floral displays in Park Street? | The Camberley Eye

Community news and views about Camberley. Skip to primary content. What DID happen to the floral displays in Park Street? August 12, 2015. The ‘floral displays’ outside Marlborough House – near to the junction of Park Street and Southwell Park Road – have had no flowers in them for a few weeks now. What happened? These photos were taken soon after the ‘damage’ occurred, but there was no obvious explanation at the time. This entry was posted in Uncategorized. August 12, 2015 at 8:14 am. Blog at WordPress&...

Community news and views about Camberley. Skip to primary content. The Camberley Eye is an on-line equivalent of a traditional local civic society. It has the same aims; to raise interest in everything that’s happening in the town and to campaign for improvements. It’s an opportunity for everyone who cares about Camberley to air their views and – if needed – to try to get something done! The ‘Eye’ focus is maintained by David Chesneau. 12 thoughts on “ About. Community news and views about Camberley. Skip to primary content. Grass growing inside The Atrium. August 17, 2015. Not real grass, of course. It’s artificial grass that’s appeared on this concrete slab inside Camberley’s Atrium. We weren’t entirely convinced at the time that this would work very well. Covering the concrete with thermally-insulating ‘grass’ probably doesn’t enhance the effect either. This entry was posted in Uncategorized. 4 thoughts on “ Grass growing inside The Atrium. Community news and views about Camberley. Skip to primary content. Heritage makes way for tables and chairs…. August 14, 2015. Actually, we’re guessing about the tables and chairs. But certainly the recently vacated Heritage Gallery premises in Camberley’s Mall (opposite Argos) are destined to house a furniture shop of some sort. This – of course – explains why the county council denied recently that IT was buying the Mall. What is this likely to mean for Camberley?

An alternative view in Surrey Heath. This blog intends to be a left-leaning view from inside the Chamber,. Labour lost nationally by forgetting who actually votes…. 1) Get enough non-voters into the Labour column. Because they never have done. Their lives are dominated by worrying about their kids, heating or food and the idea of walking 20 mins down the road with a double buggy would be irrelevant to them and it always will be for many. Our poorest roads were around the 20% turnout mark and this...Two i...

A few weeks ago, we posted an item saying that the outlook for the redevelopment of Camberley’s ‘London Road Block’ was depressing. http:/ wp.me/p3Dlu2-1Lk. This view seems to be supported by recent events. The Mall has objected formally to a proposed extension to Farnborough’s Princes Mead, saying – according to the local paper – that.
