Jacob's Dearest, Darlingest Momsy and Popsicle. August 11, 2011. Since going MIA a lot has happened in the McKew house. I have taken a firm stance in our house - no dog. I've been successful holding this position for 5 years. and recently Pat has urged me to reconsider this position. I had rules as we began to consider a "friend for Jacob" because this was completely about Jacob and not about his Daddy wanting a dog. 1 - I wanted an older dog, NOT a puppy. 2 - I wanted a dog that would be house trained.

Monday, May 3, 2010. Owen and Jenna Update. My blog is a way for me to document my kids so here is an update. Jenna, turned 2 in April and got her big girl room. I'll have to post a picture later. She thinks she is tough stuff and you can see in her face how proud she is of her room when she walks in there. She will talk your ear off and has been since she was about a year old. Saturday, August 29, 2009. Just a life update! It's been forever since my last post, I never have the time and when I do I'm too tired and ready for bed. The kids keep me moving constantly. Scott, Stacey Camille and Emersyn. Thursday, August 8, 2013. Birthday and more summer fun. Scott and I went the weekend before Emmy turned one to Asheville. It was great. We spent two nights at the Inn at Biltmore and I very much loved it. It was very much needed and we thank everyone who helped us out on our little weekend away. Since my last post, I've accepted a new position in the Office of the Governor with the Kentucky Office of Homeland Security. Having been there for over four months, it is now official and safe to say that I love my new job! Not only do I love my job responsibilities as a Grant Manager, but I really enjoy the people I work with and being in the midst of the whole Frankfort scene.
