Sunday, December 26, 2010. Earlier in the week, we went caroling with another family in their neighborhood. (wouldn't want OUR neighbors to hear us! We rode in an open trailer behind his truck and had a good time trying to come up with replacement words for "dashing thru the snow in a one horse open sleigh" with the Georgia kind of Christmas, where there's no snow, no sleigh, no horse, etc. We had a good chuckle about the cancellation! Today we had church in the family room, but slept in first!

Monday, October 18, 2010. Demolition is therapeutic.but messy! Joe finally had a few days off in a row, so some house projects are beginning to occur. The border on the kitchen walls is gone. The ugly wallpaper in 2 bathrooms is GONE! He is patching a lot of places where the drywall paper came off with the wall paper. There were at least 2 layers of paper on the walls. Saturday, July 31, 2010. Well, we cleared paths enough to have an impromptu gathering in our new home. While everything is not placed, and there are still boxes sitting around the perimeter of several rooms, I think everyone had a good time. We enjoyed having the pool for those who wanted to swim. Thursday, November 11, 2010. Tomorrow is Karoline's 9th birthday! And strawberry shortcake. Considering she is our salad and veggie lover, it is a different combination. I guess I will be doing a lot of cooking between breakfast and dinner. Good thing we have the day off from school! That is the tradition in our school. More rooms are painted. It is beginning to look more OUR house. At least the ugly 80's wallpaper is gone! We have family coming through next week on their way to Florida (YEA!

Monday, June 01, 2009. Will graduated from preschool on Friday. He is such a big boy and we are so proud of him. He got excellent marks on his report card and he progressed in his fine motor skills! We're all ready for Kindergarten in the fall - after a nice and relaxing summer! All dressed up and ready to go! Wednesday, August 04, 2010. Here are some recent pictures of the kiddos. Will, Lauren, and Joe with the Coke Polar Bear - well, he's the Diet Coke Polar Bear in our house. We went to Atlanta to celebrate Will's 6th birthday. While we were there, we went to the "Diet" Coke Museum for Father's Day. We met up with Will's buddy Nathan in Atlanta. Those boys will be friends forever! Lauren loved the aquarium. Well, Lauren loves just about everything. Another happy picture of Lauren. She is always happy!

Saturday, December 19, 2009. Will has started playing basketball out at Southland. He's on a team of 10 Kindergartners. It's really nice to not have older kids on the same team) and it's totally just for fun! Right now they're just doing practices on Saturday, but starting in January he'll have a half hour practice and a half hour game on Saturdays. After the game they have devotionals and snack.
