Snippets of my days as an alpaca breeder. AUTUMN JOBS DONE AND AN EXPORT TO BELGIUM. Our export to Belgium was completed this week as six of our females left with Els and Gunther from Alpaca Tumulus. Marah has already been sold and is now settling with her new owners - the others will stay at Alpaca Tumulus where Els and Gunther will promote and sell them on our behalf. It seems a bit strange without them here, but I know they are in good hands. Ready to go on the morning of Export. Well what a show!

Ramblings of a Farm girl, mostly for her own amusement. Tuesday, August 11, 2015. God Light in a Gilded Cage. I've heard a child named this "God light.". I like that. There's a good reminder of the. God-light shining on our little corner of the world right now. God light is good stuff to feel the presence of when you're feeling a bit like this drippy bird, just clinging to a twig in a deluge, trying your best to keep a few dry feathers. But all the while, still knowing that at least you've still got wings.
