The Farm Vet

Face of the Farmer. Monday, July 1, 2013. Let Old Glory Fly. I LOVE 4th of July celebrations! So, needless to say, farming will be in baby Giada's blood. :). Face of the farmer. This is ...

Face of the Farmer. Tuesday, April 17, 2012. Farm Vet Liebster Award! We are one of the recipients of a "Liebster Award," given to us by our friends over at Crazy Moos. They do a great job explaining what they do on their modern dairy farm through blogging. Stephen and his family run a first-class operation at the dairy farm and it is fantastic that they are also taking the time to help consumers understand how and why the dairy is as it is today. Head on over to their blog and check it out! They don't m...

Face of the Farmer. Thursday, June 27, 2013. A Little Bit Rusty at This. Sadly, we went on a one year hiatus from the blogging world. http://meonvalleyalpacas.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html

Snippets of my days as an alpaca breeder. AUTUMN JOBS DONE AND AN EXPORT TO BELGIUM. Our export to Belgium was completed this week as six of our females left with Els and Gunther from Alpaca Tumulus. Marah has already been sold and is now settling with her new owners - the others will stay at Alpaca Tumulus where Els and Gunther will promote and sell them on our behalf. It seems a bit strange without them here, but I know they are in good hands. Ready to go on the morning of Export. Well what a show!

Orchard Musings: God Light in a Gilded Cage

http://orchardmusings.blogspot.com/2015/08/god-light-in-gilded-cage.html

Ramblings of a Farm girl, mostly for her own amusement. Tuesday, August 11, 2015. God Light in a Gilded Cage. I've heard a child named this "God light.". I like that. There's a good reminder of the. God-light shining on our little corner of the world right now. God light is good stuff to feel the presence of when you're feeling a bit like this drippy bird, just clinging to a twig in a deluge, trying your best to keep a few dry feathers. But all the while, still knowing that at least you've still got wings.
