At first we were bummed that their nature playground area was closed, but I think it turned out to be even more fun exploring the trails. See How They Play. Friday, January 30, 2015. Jasper was a sheep in the Sunday School Christmas program. Dominic was a shepherd and did an amazing job singing, doing the actions, and not hurting anyone with the gigantic crook they gave him. Xavier got to be a flag-bearer at the Cub Scout pack meeting. When Chris works from home he always goes out to wait for the bus with the boys. (I just watch from the house to make sure they get on.) What a good dad he is! Thursday, January 29, 2015. See How They Play. Saturday, January 24, 2015. At the cake auction, Sebastian put his cake up for bidding and hoped to come home with another cake. Unfortunately, he got outbid and came home empty-handed. He was pretty upset about that, so we made ANOTHER cake. We ate SO much cake. We were getting used to the dark evenings, but when we got out the watercolors one night, Xavier painted me a bright, cheerful flower. Gobble, gobble. Our preschool is awesome! I'm such a lucky girl! See How They Play. Friday, November 21, 2014. A Weekend on the North Shore. My video has a lot, lot, lot of Jasper. He was just my speed, while Xavier and Dominic ran ahead. There isn't much of Sebastian. He wasn't feeling that great during the weekend, but he did his best and I'm so proud of his good attitude. See How They Play. Friday, July 25, 2014. Way back in the 24th week of this year, we had some fun things going on.like reading in our favorite tree. And playing in the rain. The rainy day was Cub Scout rocket day. It was Xavier's first official rocket day as a scout and it was a rough one. With the bad weather and other glitches that often occur with these rockets, he had to try 3-4 times before he finally got a launch. He was SOOOO excited when it finally happened. Yay! See How They Play. Wednesday, December 31, 2014. Week 32 was in August and the start of our big summer vacation to the Smoky Mountains. That means it was REALLY hard for me to choose the photos of the week - I had hundreds to pick from. This is the face of a little boy who convinced his dad to carry him up a mountain. The Smoky Mountains far exceeded my expectations. They were so beautiful with rocks, trees, and water everywhere. It was a little boy (and camera-toting mom) paradise. Chris liked it too.
