The Hibernian Society

http://thehiberniansociety.co.uk/hiberniansociety.html

Anne Morris and her family have lived in the UK since 1960. Her parents and most of her family emigrated from Ireland in 1959. Like thousands of fellow Irish they left their homes and moved to England, they were difficult times for a lot of people. The Charity has now been going since 1995, having three regular annual events and most importantly achieving their goal of helping the community on a weekly basis through the lunch club. Designed and hosted by Creative Direction 2006.

The Hibernian Society of Savannah

The Hibernian Society of Savannah was founded in 1812 for the purpose of offering aid and assistance to needy Irish immigrants. We are the oldest of Savannah's many Irish societies and organizations. We are also the originators of Savannah's Saint Patrick's Day Parade! I didn’t attend their party, no. I know it was cruel of me. But they wanted a good shaking up. By a noted Celebrity. Their ideas are old fashioned and dated. They’re trying to live in the past. Their smugness needed a jolt.
