The Aquanauts Are Go! Tuesday, October 27, 2009. So the first show was a success (I think). For those of you that don't know I played a special show opening for The Ewoks last Saturday, in which I played the songs "Stephanie! What's the Sound of One Fan Clapping? And "Hello Amp," both of which will be up on YouTube later this week. I guess in the end I wasn't as devastatingly upstaged by The Ewoks as I thought I was going to be, because they only spoke Endorian and their frontman, Mace, was a dork. For n...

The Aquanauts Are Go! Wednesday, October 21, 2009. I have been playing so much to prepare for this album release that my hand and fingers now hurt and my arm is starting to spasm. But I'm pretty relentless, so everything should be good to go come Saturday. Except for it's Wednesday and my drum set isn't here yet. The Aquanauts Are Go! Wednesday, October 14, 2009. Did anybody catch The Flaming Lips on Conan last night? That was an excellent show - I mean they had a friggin gong that lights up when you hit it. If there's anybody I want to see in concert it's the Lips. Additionally, I've been intensely at work polishing and writing songs for the album, and while I have a new song called "hello amp" that I'm super-excited to release, I think I'll wait for a little informal show on Oct. 24th before I post that one.
