Thursday, October 1, 2009. Yep, that's right.we closed on our house yesterday afternoon! We are are super stoked about getting moved in and making it into "our home". We went and bought paint yesterday afternoon, and Mikel, David's dad, was going over there this morning to get started! As we have had a great start to the New Year in our family, full of so many possibilities, I can only think about how so many people are still strapped down by fear. I love the line in this song that says, “Every fear has no place, at the sound of Your great name.”. Lost are saved, find their way. At the sound of Your great name. All condemned feel no shame. Monday, March 16, 2009. Life as we know it. We walked around downtown Asheville and checked out some antiques stores and just some other little unique places. Saturday we went to the Biltmore, it was raining the entire time we were there, but we still had a great time! We both want to make it an annual trip, but at different times during the year. Monday, August 31, 2009. Well, the news is out! David and I are expecting our first child on April 10th, 2010! We are so excited and feel truly blessed! Friday, February 19, 2010. 7 weeks and counting! I don't know about anyone else, but it literally feels like these last 33 weeks have absolutely flown by! I went to the doctor last week for my biweekly appointment and my 4d ultrasound. Crissie is growing right along where she needs to be and weighed almost 4 lbs! We got a pretty good view of our beautiful baby girl. Got to count her little toes. And even got a glimpse of the attitude that is to come. She's gonna be a rotten one for sure! Pretty cool, huh?
