If you would like the bars a little less chewy, reduce the honey to 1 tbsp. 2 cups Toasted coconut okara. 1 cup corn flakes. 1/2 cup raw sugar. 1/2 cup chopped dried apricots. 1/4 cup chopped pecans. 2 tbsp. honey. 1 Preheat oven to 180oC. Monday, October 1, 2012. Okara "chicken" nuggets (or strips). This is the kind of recipe that throws some people into a panic: it’s got two. For “chicken” –. 2 large chicken stock cubes (or 4 small). 1/4 cup boiling water. 1 tsp soy sauce. 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce. 2 tsp yellow (German) mustard. 1 1/2 cups okara. 2 tbsp. gluten. 1/2 tsp. oregano. 1/4 tsp. thyme. 1/4 tsp. pepper. For crumbing and frying –. 1/2 cup dried breadcrumbs. 1 tsp garlic powder. 1/2 tsp. baking powder. Salt and pepper to taste.
