http://drip-designsfurniture.blogspot.com/2016_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 12 January 2016. Mustard Chest (the afternoon light made it look quite peachy, cute too! I love mustard shades! I've written about it before but haven't painted with it for a while. Inspired by one of my students at the Albany Summer School last week (who refinished a rocking chair) I mixed up a mustard tone using English Yellow and a drop of Emperors Silk with a plan to paint a sweet little chest I bought last week. The gorgeous Annie Sloan Chalk Paint palette. Tuesday, 5 January 2016. I have a...

EclectChic: September 2013
http://eclectchic.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Saturday, September 21, 2013. While I was in Brisbane, Carla decided to start giving her furniture a bit of a facelift. It was looking dark and heavy and tired, and she's young and pretty and vibrant, so it just made sense. We decided to start with a big piece - her dining table. Here's Kai helping out with the sanding - he did a great job! She has a gorgeous new dinner set which is where we chose her colours from, and look how fantastic it turned out! I can't wait to see what she does next! My first tho...

http://rpkinteriors.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 21, 2014. Vintage Buffet from Spiegel. This depression era buffet is handsome and lovely. It had been handed down from grandmother to grandchild, who was retiring to Florida! Refinished top, General Finishes Antique White, some light distressing and General Finishes flat and satin high performance top coats. Simple, but elegant. Thanks for stopping by! Sunday, July 20, 2014. Poor Man's Terracotta Tile - No More! I had always longed for a terracotta tile floor in the kitchen! I must say the "...

Thursday, May 22, 2014. Provence and Gold = Gorgeous. If you're wondering what has happened to me and my blog.well, it's my photography! It's giving me a fit.I want my pictures to be pretty. Figuring out settings, lighting and editing just don't come easily for me. To find some acceptable pictures and then write about it is becoming a chore. Anyway, I still love painting and if I can write a post every now and then that is helpful to at least one person, then the 'chore' is so worth it! I added just a sm...

EclectChic: Sanding Sanding Sanding
http://eclectchic.blogspot.com/2013/09/sanding-sanding-sanding.html
Saturday, September 21, 2013. So the last couple of days have been floor sanding, broken up with a bit of veggie gardening and a bit of pool filter installation. Thanks to my very uneven floor, I think I'm going to be doing a lot on my hands and knees, as the Beast is not getting it all. Here we are so far. Yes, still a long way to go. The veggie garden is looking like a garden now. Look! I'm most proud of this effort - look, she's all plumbed in! Our final adventure of the day was once again rescuing a ...

EclectChic: And a bit of catching up!
http://eclectchic.blogspot.com/2013/09/and-bit-of-catching-up.html
Friday, September 20, 2013. And a bit of catching up! Harry helped me pack. We witnessed a crash along the way - talk about frightening! It came around the bend rather fast and next thing we knew it was somersaulting into the air, hit a stand of trees, rolled in the air, hit a star picket, and ended up like this in the paddock. Harry got the chop. doesn't he look older! Vicki got her first hair cut too. Friday was "my" day/night. My birthday gift this year from hubby was a night to myself at a hotel ...

EclectChic: A list...
http://eclectchic.blogspot.com/2013/09/a-list.html
Tuesday, September 17, 2013. Oh hello blog. I remember you. We haven't talked in a while, have we. No good! I thought I might snatch a few moments in between ticking off the epic list of tasks I've set for myself this week. Of course, one cup of tea will lead to two, and before I know it it'll be lunch time, but I'll try to control myself. Speaking of epic tasks, I thought I'd make a little list. The man of the house is away mustering for the next 11 days or so, and boy do I have plans! Great to read you...
