the patchwork dress: magazine collage
http://www.thepatchworkdress.typepad.com/the_patchwork_dress/magazine-collage
Life is made of little pieces stitched together. January 19, 2013. I had a little 20 minute wandering through 3 magazines, just letting my subconscious pull out anything that appealed to it. Of course Charlie was there to help, there he is providing some paperweighting in the top left corner! Im a bit too lazy (and lacking space for display) to stick it down, so took a photo and posted it here! 19 Jan 2013 12:08:50. How lovely to have you back in this space and t. On saturday morning collage.

Life is made of little pieces stitched together. January 13, 2013. 2012 was a strange year - very busy with hardly any time to be in this part of my world. Started the year working in Manchester, then Edinburgh, Belfast from May-October and then back to Glasgow. All that runnng around lead to burnout all through November, December and part of January, first losing my voice for 3 days (hence the napkin with notes to N! 13 Jan 2013 19:35:24. the patchwork dress: easter bun(ny)ting
http://www.thepatchworkdress.typepad.com/the_patchwork_dress/2013/04/easter-bunnyting.html
Life is made of little pieces stitched together. April 07, 2013. Last Easter weekend I made some easter bun(ny)ting to hang across the dresser. Id bought the timber bunnies earlier, and just wanted something to hang them from. Its the first thing Ive made using my sewing machine in ages - and at times I wished I hadnt started - it was rather a lazy bunting, and I wasnt sure whether to give the bunnies little yellow ribbon bowties or not? What do you think? They had some nice stuff for Easter/Spring.

Just another WordPress.com weblog. December 2, 2010. One of the things that I do love about snow is that brief time between daylight and night-time, dusk, twilight. The snow seems to glow through the dimness and along with the orange glow from street lights and uncurtained windows. and the hills that are unseen on moonless evenings, are there illuminated, looking bigger than ever, The landscape takes on a really special quality. Hope you are warm where ever you are. Happiness is a bottomless button box.

My Baboo: The Angry Pirate
http://mybaboo.blogspot.com/2011/07/angry-pirate.html
How long is a piece of wool. There was an error in this gadget. Wednesday, 13 July 2011. Yesterday we were waiting in a queue to pay for lunch a a well know blue and yellow furniture store when a lady pushed past my son to get a glass. On her way back to the till point she stood in front of my son, staring at him and waiting for him to move. I had to pull him out of her way. She didn't even say 'Excuse me' maybe she thought children don't deserve the courtesy of manners. The Red Pirate was a deadly curse.

Today I am loving being able to paint commissions outside! The sunshine continues, and every ones mood is on a high, which is wonderful! Their is even a heat haze across the carse today. My husband is busy ploughing this afternoon, so once the little people have woken from their nap, I will put my paintbrush down, and go for a lovely walk! Posted at 01:58 PM. Quite a simple photo, but such a rare sight! It seems like ages since weve had beautiful blue skies in Stirlingshire! Heres hoping it lasts! As far...

I Heart Planet Earth: July 2011
http://iheartplanetearth.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
There was an error in this gadget. Tuesday, 5 July 2011. Last week was my birthday and I was lucky enough to receive lots of presents. Now I have tons of wrapping paper and cards and I was trying to think of ways I could put them to good use. It seems like such a waste to spend loads of money on wrapping paper and gift bags for them to just end up in the recycling. If they are recycled at all that is! This paper could then be reused for someone else to enjoy and save you some money too. 169; The Kind Life.
And Sew To Sleep: What am I doing here?
http://andsewtosleep.blogspot.com/2008/01/what-am-i-doing-here.html
Sunday, 27 January 2008. What am I doing here? No that's not me sandwiched between the coffee pot and oxo tins! What I mean is how did I get to this far into 2008 without noticing? Just where did January go? It feels as though my last post was just yesterday and now we are almost saying 'goodbye' to January. If I'd been in hibernation I could understand - but that's certainly not the case. Work, work and more work has been my agenda. Labels: NFO (Now finished object). Those journals are cute! 28 January ...

The Patchwork Diaries | Just a Mixed Bag of Assorted Nuts.
Just a Mixed Bag of Assorted Nuts. No Title, August 2009. No Title, Feb 2007. No Title, September 2009. Breaking my hand is the first broken bone experience I’ve ever had. That stuff hurts! Like right up there with my c-section recovery hurts and my broken bone is just a tiny one. I couldn’t imagine an arm or leg feeling that way. It just plain aches all the time no matter what. It’s bearable, but oh so very annoying to have this random throbbing going on when you least expect it. A Turn of the Tide.

Patchwork Girl in Black and White
Patchwork Girl in Black and White. Monday, September 27, 2010. Raise your hand if you've ever gotten a phone call from a tzedakah. Waiting.ok, all the hands are up, as I suspected]. Okay, now raise your hand if you didn't have money to give at the time (or at the very least, had other places to give to which could use the money just as much, if not more). Waiting.yeah, that's what I thought]. Is it just me, or do the people making these phone calls not know how to take "no" for an answer? Hi there, reade...
