Tuesday, September 27, 2011. Anna is 16 months. Anna turned 16 months on the 25th and this update is 2 months overdue! Hard to keep up these days! We sold the crib and changing table and re-arranged Anna's room. Probably around age 2- 2 1/2 she will get a twin bed in her room to transition from our bed. Sunday, January 20, 2013. December was full of Christmas preparation! Despite a bout with the flu bug, we had a wonderful Christmas! Here are a few highlights. Opening presents even with a fever! Sweet Anna had the flu on Christmas Eve. Letter and treats for Santa and reindeer! Listening to "The Night Before Christmas". Measuring with gingerbread men. Making gingerbread play doh. Anna's new bed.Hello Kitty! We donated toys again to Children's Mercy Hospital this year! The big piano at CMH is too cool!

But the sentiments spoken in each of those posts still ring true.I am in love with Mr. Eli and find the most important job in my life is raising children. I look forward to this year raising a 4 and 1 year old and will again be in disbelief when the "5" rolls around next year. She's telling me who we're praying for. She becomes very serious and penitent when she prays. A very sweet picture of my little prayer warrior.
