The Poetry Playground | The mad ramblings will continue

The mad ramblings will continue. April closing …. May 1, 2016. So, thanks again for another great year. Apologies if it seemed a little more harried or hectic than usual. I will be correcting the rest of the formatting issues on the website very shortly. I hope you took the time to fill out the poet vote or at least to send me a few closing remarks. It’s always nice to know that someone is out there listening. Until next April unless I pull some surprises this year! Poetry pimp, Tammy. April 30, 2016.

The mad ramblings will continue. Newer posts →. April 20, 2016. If a life needn’t be useful to be meaningful,. Then maybe a life of sunbathing on a beach. Can be thought of as meaningful for at least a few,. The few, say, who view the sun as a god. And consider basking a form of worship. As for those devoted to partnership with a surfboard. Or a pair of ice skates or a bag of golf clubs,. Though I can’t argue their lives are useful,. I’d be reluctant to claim they have no meaning. Poem in Your Pocket Day!

Tuesday, April 6, 2010. Cool face of the river. Asked me for a kiss. From now on, I’m going to try to repeat this haiku like a mantra during shavasana. During those last five or ten minutes of a yoga class when we all lie on our mats in silence, trying to quiet our thinking minds. Like grass or sidewalks.
