I never used to; this is a new phenomenon… They include optical fun (think sparkly twinkles on all objects in normal vision, white mystic puddles where people’s faces should be, Fantasia when you close your eyes), as well as severe pain, nausea, exhaustion etc…thankfully slightly less often. 3) ask them about tinted lenses...

Homestyle Mama (with a side of autism): June 2015
http://www.homestylemama.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
The organized chaos of a family living with ADHD and severe autism. Other places to find me. Saturday, June 13, 2015. I pulled Goofy out of summer school. Not at all. I'm irritated, and this month I really don't have time to argue his existing IEP, accommodations that we agreed on, or adding transportation as a related service. I just can't. So I gave up. I called the principal and I told her, I don't have time right now and I'm just not doing it. He won't be back. I give up. Links to this post. The writ...

http://www.homestylemama.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
The organized chaos of a family living with ADHD and severe autism. Other places to find me. Saturday, March 28, 2015. This April, I want to talk about. March is ending, and April is beginning. You know what that means. Autism awareness month means lots of posts on all things autism awareness related. There are many examples of why we need this month, but I don't want to talk about Steve Harvey or Kathleen Smith of Tomball, Texas or the "I didn't mean. The things we could accomplish for our disability!

The organized chaos of a family living with ADHD and severe autism. Other places to find me. Friday, March 28, 2014. Reminiscing. Change can be a good thing. I've been thinking a lot lately. Remembering. Time flies, doesn't it? Time flies and things change. When did he start walking nicely? Slight smile* *nod* *starts kicking the water* Ok, then. 1/4 of the water is left, "how about now? Can I open it now? Goodbye, goodbye. School bus.". No, buddy. First goodnight goodnight, Then school bus.". This argum...

The organized chaos of a family living with ADHD and severe autism. Other places to find me. Friday, April 25, 2014. You may have noticed that I haven't been online at all lately, there are reasons. Since we have come to an agreement and our family has been informed, I think I'm ready to talk about it. Parenting won't be changing. Our boys are our boys. They both know I'm not really going anywhere. They are both mine and I will be here for them just as much as before I moved. I hope that one of these sch...

The organized chaos of a family living with ADHD and severe autism. Other places to find me. Tuesday, November 4, 2014. A year ago, I told you about getting back in touch with my mom. About my hopes and excitement about rebuilding our relationship. I had a lot of big ideals and pretty words on the subject. I thought I had grown up. I thought it would be wonderful. I thought I could handle it. I told you about the person I used to be. I watched her, trying to decide. Is she so stupid that she doesn't ...

Homestyle Mama (with a side of autism): December 2014
http://www.homestylemama.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
The organized chaos of a family living with ADHD and severe autism. Other places to find me. Saturday, December 13, 2014. I started enrolling the boys in the new school a month before our move date so that we could have everything in place before they started and there would be nothing to worry about. The process coordinator has been great, she had a lot of hope for Goofy in his new school. She said he could get remedial reading and another reading. The first day of school came and I still don't know who...
