Linton-in-Craven is nestled in of the Yorkshire Dales and is often described as one the most idyllic, picturesque of dales villages. Linton boasts an impressive, traditional dales pub, the Fountaine Inn. Selling fabulous food and real ale. Ideal after a hard days walking or cycling. Grassington, a mile away, is a bustling village full of shops and cafes. Situated further down the river Wharfe is the beautiful village of Burnsall, only a short walk or cycle away. Linton’s history dates back to the 12th century which is when the first 'Rectory' was built, in our grounds. The alms houses, built by Lord Fountaine in the 18th century, are the main feature of the village. This is complimented by the historic pack bridge and clapper bridge, where Linton Beck flows beneath. Linton has a regular bus service taking you all over the dales and to the train station at Skipton, approximately 9 miles away.

Our gorgeous studio rooms are set in the grounds of The Old Rectory, dating back to the 12th Century. In these luxurious rooms you will find crisp white linen, velvety throws and Loewe televisions. Room 1 has its own private entrance. Room 2 and 3 can be adjoining if required. Offering fantastic family accommodation. The Rectory offers a private seating area, overlooking the village green and Linton Beck, along with a spacious private car park. Wi-fi available in all rooms.

For a video tour of the Rectory Cafe, and information on how to arrange special events. Sunday - Thursday 11am - 9pm. Friday and Saturday 11am - 10pm. The kitchen closes a half hour prior. The Rectory Café does accept reservations, please send us a email or give us a call to make one with the date and time and the number of people in your party.
