Life With Briana: What A Terrific Summer Break (A Little Recap)
http://waitingforbriana.blogspot.com/2015/08/what-terrific-summer-break-little-recap.html
August 13, 2015. What A Terrific Summer Break (A Little Recap). I'm thinking back about all the things Briana did over summer break a short 9 week period. She really had an amazing summer. I (and Doug) wanted to make sure she did. You are only young once - why not make the most of it? No wonder she didn't want summer vacation to end. ;). She spent lots of time with her friends and cousins (at camps and outside of camps). She met new friends too. She had a lot of Gramma and Papa time. Me And My Girl.

We have said since we moved to Florida three years ago that we must go on a cruise while here. We finally did it (thanks to some nudging from my dear friend Debbie). :). We took over 500 pictures on this 3 night cruise and it is hard to narrow down the pics.but I will try! Kids LOVED the window seat. :). The bed was so very comfy. Meisi thought the couch was bouncy. :). Before dinner...

Life With Briana: Hutong Rickshaw Tour
http://waitingforbriana.blogspot.com/2007/07/hutong-rickshaw-tour.html
July 27, 2007. I can't tell you how happy I am that Doug and I felt good enough to go on this tour. It was amazing! We did the rickshaw tour with two other families in our travel group, as well as a nice sized group of people who used our agency to adopt their daughters 10 years ago - they were making the trip back to China. Then we went to the Drum Tower which overlooks Hutong. We climbed up 69 very steep steps to get to the top - ugh! Ok - here are some pics! Line of rickshaws waiting for customers.

http://waitingforbriana.blogspot.com/2007/07/hello-china.html
July 25, 2007. It is 7:30 AM in China and I am hungry for some breakfast! The hotel we are staying at is SO nice! The room is beautiful. The bed is a little hard, but I had been warned that the beds in China were hard, so I expected it. After a nice shower, I climbed into bed and went to sleep. Here is a picture of us with our guides Chandler and Cathy in the hotel lobby (I am looking pretty rough! You look great, and I'm glad you're feeling better. Oh my god, you are really there! Keep up the posts!

August 2, 2007. Briana's First Hiccups with Us. New parents with a video camera. Yesterday Briana must have eaten a little too quickly and came down with a case of the hiccups. Here is two minutes of Briana hiccuping for your viewing pleasure. Yep, two minutes of hiccuping for two proud new parents. Take all the videos you can. We all back home love to see them too. That is so cute! I love that she looks startled when she hiccups, but then gives a huge grin, coz she thinks its funny! That was so cute!

Life With Briana: Spring Arrived
http://waitingforbriana.blogspot.com/2015/05/spring-arrived.html
May 11, 2015. My girl helping me pick out plants one evening during the week. I always love looking at the flowers in spring. It rained on Saturday the last weekend of April, but Sunday was beautiful. It was time to get to work. Miss B pulled a bunch of weeds but not even close to the amount she did last year. Her love of weed pulling is beginning to wane. My azaleas were in full bloom that weekend. After hours of work, I sat in my rocker and enjoyed the view. Bri was so excited. The birds finally flew t...

A Heart to Love. Faith, Hope and Love, but the Greatest of these is Love. 1 Corinthians 13:13. Thursday, December 26, 2013. Merry Christmas friends and family! Another first for us! This was Meisi's first year at home for Christmas. :). Ok guys, she is precious all the time but oh how I wish I could have bottled up her sweet voice, words and excitement today. :) Of course, we couldn't find the plug for the camcorder so short videos on phones were best we could do. What mercy Jesus had to die for us, all ...

Life With Briana: Chongqing Zoo and Paperwork Day
http://waitingforbriana.blogspot.com/2007/08/chongqing-zoo-and-paperwork-day.html
August 3, 2007. Chongqing Zoo and Paperwork Day. Wow, I haven't had a chance to actually post in a while - Briana is a bundle of energy and when she is awake, we don't have time to do anything! They were such a great help and dinner was very good. Unfortunately, Briana was VERY wiggly and spent the entire time on my lap. Doug was amazed that I ate my entire dinner with chopsticks in my right hand - and I am left handed. You do what you have to do to eat! I think I will keep him! A very sleepy baby. Daddy...
