There's no place like. Inspiration from Movies, Books and Series. Inspiration from Life, Items and People. Tuesday, April 28, 2015. Inspiration From Dirt and Cheese. As I wrote about foster care and adoption this last year, What I'm Going to Be When They Grow Up. I've been thinking more about types of therapy. Different experiences my family members are going through have made me think through what helps and what doesn't, what to say and when to be still. Going out to the garden and getting down and dirt...

Dealing With Demons: January 2013
http://jackykendricks.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Of the writing variety. Tuesday, January 29, 2013. I’m going to be trying something different for the Kassidy books. I’d like it to be an open-ended trilogy. It’ll work with the series arc I have planned, and I’d like for there to be more books in the series than three. There will be more in the series than three. So I want to get the series arc set up, but concluded satisfactorily in the first three books, so that if worst comes to worst, my fans won’t be disappointed. We’ll see how well this works.

Dealing With Demons: A Difference in Character
http://jackykendricks.blogspot.com/2013/01/a-difference-in-character.html
Of the writing variety. Monday, January 14, 2013. A Difference in Character. Kassidy, on the other hand, pulls away. Isolates herself. She’s used to working alone. While she’s glad to have someone watching her back while she heals, she’s convinced he’s going to get in her way. (Again. Because he’s already interfered with her job once.). I guess only time will tell, right? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Yes, I think so. View my complete profile. Always a Sad Day. A Difference in Character. Manuscript...

Writer Revealed: Be the Best You
http://writerrevealed.blogspot.com/2012/03/be-best-you.html
Wednesday, 7 March 2012. Be the Best You. Do you wish you could find the strength to be who you are, regardless of what the world (or your mom, spouse, children) want you to be? Do you want to have courage to live by your own rules, whether or not it conforms with what you "should" do? Do you want to be the best you can be, and change the world one page a time? If you didn't answer "yes" to any of the above questions but know others who might, then please share. 9 March 2012 at 02:58. Attempted recording...

Hasty Notes: Dance to the Music
http://hastynotes.blogspot.com/2011/03/dance-to-music.html
I've had enough, no more. Tuesday, March 8, 2011. Dance to the Music. I stole this from another blog. I secretly believe my books do this every night. Sort of like those fairy cobblers who fix shoes left on the doorstep overnight. What can I say. I'm a hopeless romantic. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Winter has been awful and can't go away too soon for me. Don't like winter; never have, never will. Didn't expect to see spring for another couple of weeks. Totes Amaze.: February 2010
http://pureapplesauce.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
All things that fascinate me.usually related to death, words, books, or the body. Thursday, February 25, 2010. It all looks so innocent. A swingset in a park. An innertube at the top of a snowy bank. But I keep managing to hurt myself by trying to do things kids do and adults should maybe not. Last summer, I went out of town with a couple of friends to a place inspired by Belgian towns. That meant beer. Lots of beer. I decided to try the swingset in the local park. No big, right? Sunday, February 14, 2010.
