You just can't beat the Dallas Arboretum for great fall pumpkin pictures - tens of thousands of pumpkins, pumkin houses and bails of hay just waiting for people to dress up their kids and grab their cameras - i'm a sucker for it! Tuesday, November 6, 2012. A few more pumpkins. The weekend before halloween we hit a big pumpkin patch north of dallas for some pumpkin time with daddy (and so many of our favorite cartoon characters - what a treat! We did this barrel tractor ride, a real hay ride, hay mazes and took lots of pictures (again! So exciting to see lightning mcqueen and all our favorite CARS friends. Monday, May 14, 2012. Fun weekend with nana and papa. Now that Richard and I are finally over a crazy bug that hit us for two weeks, I can post pictures from a fun weekend with nana and papa in denver. We all went to Brooks's soccer on Saturday (which started out great and turned into tears by the end! Then we hit the the golf course and had fun putting and chipping. Not exactly our best golf attire but oh well! Even Kate took to putting and loved pulling the ball out of the hole afterward.

Monday, January 16, 2012. Our one year old. Happy 1st birthday to our sweet little kate! You only want to feed yourself - no more spoons for you - you push away all the baby food and want to use the fork yourself to get the avacado, bananas, pasta, EVERYTHING! Wednesday, November 7, 2012. Nothing better than being with our best friends and going to a splash park on November 2nd! We didn't know the fountains would be on but couldn't resist letting the kids get down to their undies and having fun! Sunday, July 8, 2012. What a treat to spend saturday in Keystone with the Lewis family! The boys loved riding their bikes on the big guy mountain bike trails - even through the puddles! Tuesday, November 6, 2012. We had so much fun preparing for halloween this year. I thought Kate would make a perfect Jessie (the cowgirl from Toy Story) and planned out her costume. When I asked Brooks if he would like to be another character from Toy Story he was excited! I thought he would pick Woody or Buzz Lightyear or even Rex the dinosaur, but no, he said "Mr. Potato Head." I had a lot of work ahead of me! Monday, February 27, 2012. Bode Miller watch out. Brooks Fuquay is ready to shred! We spent the weekend in Winter Park and took Brooks to the ski hill for the first time. After seeing his buddy Xander with his skis, Brooks thought he would like to give it a try. He loved the skis, the boots and the helmet and had such a good attitude.
