The Student Risotto (also, I’m not dead) | The New Zealand Domestic Goddess

The New Zealand Domestic Goddess. The Student Risotto (also, I’m not dead). As the title (and this post’s existence) shows – I’m not dead and I apologise for not updating in forever but I was working like crazy over the summer holidays in Hamilton and all in all I’ve just been a little spaced. Anyway, tonight, in a fit of poverty, we (me and my sister) raided the cupboards to see what we could throw together for dinner and inspired by this. Post at The Cynical Chef. 8 cups of water. 1 onion finely chopped.

Cooking At High Altitude. This blog is to share my experiences as I take a peek into the art of baking. Sunday, September 28, 2008. I used to be a big fan of Alton Brown and his Good Eats show back in the day when I used to watch the food network. Since I started this blog and following the repressed pastry chef blog. Ever since I made the yogurt, I was in search for some granola. To my joy, the 'Oats Cuisine' episode of the Good Eats featured a simple and quick reicpe. Posted by Payal Shah. This was ano...

Merry Moon Designs: Cheese Please!
http://merrymoondesigns.blogspot.com/2008/11/cheese-please.html
Sunday, November 2, 2008. Nope, it's Cake! Everything you see is entirely edible, even the marble is marzipan. The blue cheese wheel and pistachio crusted cheese ball are both yellow cake soaked with Earl Grey syrup and filled and iced with green tea Swiss buttercream. This was my final project for Advanced Cakes. I LOVE how it turned out! Yes, I got 100%. WooHoo! I really like the "moldy" sides of the blue cheese. It's really just royal icing tinted with edible food color. November 3, 2008 at 7:58 AM.

Merry Moon Designs: The New Year Tidy Up
http://merrymoondesigns.blogspot.com/2009/01/new-year-tidy-up.html
Wednesday, January 7, 2009. The New Year Tidy Up. I decided to start the year off right and clean up my studio. I'm still somewhat in limbo trying to decide my next move in life. I've actually been getting quite a few orders from my Etsy shop, which has been keeping me busy, but I'm also trying to decide what new products I should be working on. Should I stick to 3-D needle felted items? Should I include flat embroidered felties? Should I bring back my hand painted signs with bakery themes? Everything is...
