Nursing a sore Achilles | Fernsehturm

The legendary Mt. Washington. Preschool “Senior Year” →. Nursing a sore Achilles. August 31, 2014. When does a metaphor become real life? When you strain your Achilles tendon and it prevents you from running. I strained it in Maine or just before (a month ago) and it had been sore to walk on and especially sore in the mornings. I ran the Bridge of Flowers 10k. So, I’ve broken out my really heavy hybrid bike and done a few hour long rides in the Amherst/Hadley/Northampton area. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

Nursing a sore Achilles. My column about the job search in the Hampshire Gazette →. Preschool “Senior Year”. September 1, 2014. My son starts his last year of preschool in Amherst, Massachusetts tomorrow. His sister has been so social from the nearly the beginning of her life and we take that for granted. With him it will be so fun to see him continue to develop into an articulate and confident little boy as the year progresses. This entry was posted in Massachusetts. Nursing a sore Achilles. It’s been a real light schedule of running lately. I’ve been pretty consumed by a job search while nursing a sore Achilles heel. My column about the job search in the Hampshire Gazette. Hampshire Gazette column: Parenting and Dog Ownership →. September 15, 2014. I didn’t start hiking seriously until I moved to western Washington in 2000. Many backcountry trips later with many experiences in rough terrain and bad weather, the high mountains had gained my respect. This also meant falling into the snobbery that absolutely exists amongst western hikers when they hear about mountains of the east coast. What you hear about. We got up at...

Hampshire Gazette column: Parenting and Dog Ownership. January 28, 2015. I wrote a column a few months back about being a parent and how that has made me be “between dogs”. I tucked that one away on my laptop and kind of forgot about it. But, I dusted it off last month and submitted for publication. That column was published today in the Hampshire Gazette! I hope you enjoy today’s column! This entry was posted in Uncategorized. One response to “ Hampshire Gazette column: Parenting and Dog Ownership.

Where There's God's Will, There's A Little Way. Saturday, February 9, 2013. Happy New Year, folks! I hope you have been enjoying what has been an incredible year so far! I recently heard the song "Smash into You," which is a Beyonce cover of a Jon McLaughlin song. The lyrics are breathtaking:. And I'm soaked in your love / And love was right in my path, in my grasp / And me and you belong / Oh, I wanna run, smash into you / I'm willing to run, smash into you.". Theresa Lode's website. To a T Organizing. Why I am a minimalist. August 14, 2015. I’ve never been a stuff person. I think I was hardwired that way . When I left home as a teen, my goal was to never have more than a duffel bag full of stuff. I had to make an exception to accommodate my trusty companion – a Martin Sigma guitar that I purchased with graduation money. My work as an organizer only deepens these conviction. Stuff does not equal happiness. That ultimately is a decision. It costs less $ . With ...
