Stay Strong, Ladies and Gents | The Resilient Mind
https://theresilientmind.wordpress.com/2012/01/31/stay-strong-ladies-and-gents
Just another WordPress.com site. January 31, 2012. Stay Strong, Ladies and Gents. How do you define sexual abuse? I want to share a story about something that happened to me a few years ago. He was all I could think about for the next few days and I waited impatiently for him to ask me to hang out. He said he was a pretty busy film student, hoping I’d understand if I didn’t hear from him for bit (even though we lived in the same dorm building). Later on I ended up getting pretty drunk, nearly blackout...

Just another WordPress.com site. February 1, 2012. Milosh For Your Health. Every now and then I’m going to make a music suggestion, because I love music and when I hear something awesome it must be shared. With that said, today I bring you Milosh. I went for a jog while listening to their album. You Make Me Feel. I haven’t been jogging in years (thanks to yoga, I think I’m getting back on a fitness kick). I feel good right now. Give them a listen! Next post →. Good Times, For A Change. Follow “The ...
Have No Shame. | The Resilient Mind
https://theresilientmind.wordpress.com/2012/02/01/have-no-shame
Just another WordPress.com site. February 1, 2012. Today I actually went to a yoga class for the first time in almost two years. And it felt GREAT. At one point, the instructor came around to me and fixed my body so that I was correctly positioned in Downward Dog. She said, “Go ahead, stick your butt out as far as you can. Have no shame.”. Insecurity = shame = rut. Yourself you’re going to get better…but to. Therefore I have decided that whenever I write something on here, it stays. Because whatever ...
We’re Small. | The Resilient Mind
https://theresilientmind.wordpress.com/2012/01/31/were-small
Just another WordPress.com site. January 31, 2012. I am here now, and someday I won’t be. And eventually, everyone who has ever known me will be gone, too…and when that happens, unless I do something major that impacts life as humans know it, my story will be lost, too. It used to make me sad, but now it’s kind of like a liberation of sorts. Even this realization isn’t original, but I don’t really care. At least now I feel like I can do whatever I want. What was I going to say? Why was I going to say it?

Just another WordPress.com site. Monthly Archives: January 2012. January 31, 2012. I am here now, and someday I won’t be. And eventually, everyone who has ever known me will be gone, too…and when that happens, unless I do something major that impacts life as humans know it, my story will be lost, too. Still, with this kind of realization, I want to do good with my life. I don’t want to be a ‘bad guy.’ I want to help people, not hurt people. So that’s good, I suppose. What was I going to say? Why doesn...

The Resilient Mind | Just another WordPress.com site
Just another WordPress.com site. Good Times, For A Change. February 3, 2012. Today, I got myself a job. Soon, I shall no longer be completely broke. I’m a dog handler again. Working with dogs beats waiting tables ANY day. To celebrate, I took a nice long bike ride through the city since today was so beautiful. Even though this strange warmth in February scares me, I can’t say that I’m not enjoying it. My Raleigh Sports English 3-speed. It rides beautifully. Favorite riding shoes. 3. A queen, I think.

An ever-growing ecofeminist resource
An ever-growing ecofeminist resource. Plant Porn of the Week: Violets. April 28, 2014. Spring has sprung, and one of the first little beauties to show off its beautiful heart-shaped leaves are violets. Here’s the skinny on this little gal who’s not afraid to let her fuzzy leaves face a few chilly nights:. I could stare at those full curves for days! Usually 2 -4 inches. 15 – 30 inches. Blue-purple, pink or white on its petals, a sharp yellow-green is a must for her slender stems and shapely leaves. Viole...
