This is our first 4th of July in Texas and we celebrated by attending a yummy breakfast put on by our church, watching a mini parade that came thru our neighborhood, and dressing up in red, white, and blue! There were no fireworks lit that night which was. Different. All was quiet on this frontier! However, they did light fireworks the night before somewhere in town. We just didn't see them! Sunday, August 9, 2009. S'mores, S'mores, S'mores! Who doesn't love a s'more? There's chocolate, graham crackers, and marshmallows. What's NOT to love? We had a bonfire out behind my parents' house quite a few nights during our stay in Washington. There is something so relaxing and peaceful about sitting around a bonfire. Wednesday, March 11, 2009. The Lesson of Take Your Medicine. So here is this seemingly cute little three year old playing doctor. Who could pass up getting her this dress up when her dad is a PA? Anyway, she loves to "listen" to your heart beat, and with this new outfit came a prescription pad. That is what she is handing to me . . . my prescription. How ironic! Sunday, July 27, 2008. Alone in RS and photos. So who came to visit our RS today UNannounced? You guessed it . . . our Stake RS Pres and her secretary!
