Friday, October 25, 2013. Adventure to the Northern French Coast. We went on a little family day trip almost directly north to a quaint little town called Le Treport. Perfect as it's only 2.5 hours from our house. and with enough to do to entertain us for several hours and enjoy time as as the French 5! Playing on a large ship anchor! The one in Le Treport. Sunday, March 31, 2013. We've had a super fun week getting ready for Easter! One day after school Sadie had a friend over and we did a practice run of dying eggs and decorated our egg tree. It was fun to share about the new life in Christ that Jesus brings with our friend and her mom who came later! Also a special thanks to Grandma for sending bunny glasses, we got to share one with our friend! Then, on Saturday morning. we did a mass production of Easter eggs. boiling 90 eggs. Yes friends. 90 eggs!

Thursday, November 28, 2013. The Twinkle of Bedtime. Peering through my little treasures' doorway, this is what I see. A little glow radiates from around their bunk beds as they sleep. It's christmas time, you know. My heart is tender. I'm tired from a long day. But my heart over flows. They are dreaming about the story. Daddy just told them as he tucked them in. I'm so thankful for her. The hard days. the laughs. the strong will. the tears. dress up. And oh yes. the drama! And my first born son.

Monday, December 23, 2013. Church Christmas Play. My Angel and My Mary. This past Sunday our church put on it's Christmas Program. and it was so fun. We are so blessed by friends and brothers and sisters who have loved and cared for us as family here in France. We also had a fun little surprise that Sadie got to be Mary in the children's nativity story. Here are her and her little side kick getting ready for the part with another angel. This is one of the sweet youth who love our kids. She is precious.
