Anche i "profani della musica" non possono non rimanere colpiti dal fascino di questa chitarra, che nella sua semplicità cattura ancora oggi chitarristi professionisti e dilettanti. Martedì 16 settembre 2014. The piper of a new era. Dopo svariate vicissitudini si arriva ad una formazione completa : Barrett alla chitarra, Waters al basso, Wright alle tastiere, Mason alla batteria. E' da questa formazione che nasce il primo capolavoro! The Piper at the Gates of Down. Canzoni come Interstellar Overdrive. Fanno ben intendere di ciò di cui si parla, lunga durata, totalmente strumentale, improvvisazioni, fanno di essa una novità assoluta nel mondo rock da poco creatosi.
