Location and Hours - theridgesgarden

The Ridges is open for individuals and groups to visit by appointment only - even at short notice - from September till May. Make a reservation now. Adults $10.00 / person, concessions for groups. Situated on State Highway One at Rata. 13 km south of Hunterville and 21 km north of Bulls. Approximate travelling time between The Ridges and:. Wellington - 2hours 15 minutes. Palmerston North - 45 minutes. Taupo - 2 hours 10 minutes. Hastings - 2 hours 30 minutes. Taihape - 50 minutes. Wanganui - 45 minutes.

We welcome tour groups to our garden. Garden maps and tours available - please enquire. Q - How long does it take to walk around the garden? A - Weather can affect the time spent, but a leisurely walk takes about 45mins. Time for lunch takes about 45mins -1hr. Q - Toilet facilities? Q - Bus Parking? A - Yes and space to turn around.
