Sunday, March 31, 2013. Spring Break Visit to California To Grandma and Grandpa Smiths 2013. The boys took their bikes and went on a bike ride with Grandpa and then went for ice cream after. Lots of fun with the cousins. The boys braved the cold water and swam, but the girls and I just sat by the pool and read our books. The tradition of decorating eggs! Friday, May 24, 2013. Caleb played lacrosse for the first time this year and loves it! Friday, May 17, 2013. Springtime and soccer is always an interesting thing in Cache Valley. We sit through a lot of the games in the snow or rain and it is usually freezing cold! Things were no different this year, we did have a few games towards the end of the season that were nice. Friday, May 2, 2014. Children's Orphanage Visit Honduras. One of the days we were at the clinic we were able to leave for a few hours and visit a children's orphanage. Dave Sheets is the one that organizes these humanitarian trips, he has been very instrumental in helping this orphanage improve the conditions that the children are staying in. It was an eye opening trip for us to see these kids that all had disabilities and have been orphans since birth. One of the rooms the children slept in.
