Happenings at the Brainard Household. Saturday, December 31, 2011. If I were to type a "Christmas" letter, this is what it would say! This past year has been one full of excitement! First we welcomed Carl Victor into the world on Jan. 10th. He was born at 11:33 PM and weighed in at 7 lbs. 1 oz. and was 20 inches long. About a month and half later, March 5, Josiah's sister, Lydia got married to Douglas Caudill! They are now expecting a little one almost any time now! Doug and Lydia's wedding pictures!

Happenings at the Brainard Household. Thursday, October 2, 2014. God Is Good (part 1). The first couple of weeks were very uneventful. He got 4 days of leave and got to come home. I tried not to think about having to say good bye. The time finally came. It was one of the hardest things I had to do. But I knew that he was going to be getting another leave before he finally went overseas. October 2, 2014 at 7:50 AM. Im so glad youre writing through this journey youre on.
