A nice shot of the “Caesar’s Brother” siberian iris, rather than a shot of all my bandages…. But I’m healing nicely…. 8230;and other stories. Most wonderful time of the year. At least I still have all my teeth →. A little different next year. July 28, 2015. This, my second year with full sun planters…and I still don’t have it quite right. The placement is good, but the plants are not WOW. Thinking grasses alone in two pots, and geraniums and ivy in the other two…but what about the boxwood? Does he get the go-ahead for next year, too? This entry was posted in Uncategorized. Aikawarazu Life in Japan: December 2014
http://aikawarazulifeinjapan.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Aikawarazu Life in Japan. Saturday, December 27, 2014. The dancing Gingerbread post. Making a year in gingerbread has become my tradition over the years. Its one of the things I started in my first years in Japan when I got homesick for certain foods that are particularly American. Even though when I lived in America I never had gingerbread cookies and never had such a tradition at all! The rest is gingerbread history. The dough that once made a dozen now makes maybe close to 100! Filled season to all!

Aikawarazu Life in Japan: Corner View---Somewhere Else
http://aikawarazulifeinjapan.blogspot.com/2015/05/corner-view-somewhere-else.html
Aikawarazu Life in Japan. Thursday, May 7, 2015. Corner View- -Somewhere Else. Kobe, written in Japanese. 12288;神(God) 戸 (door). It was my first time to go to Kobe city. Taking a shinkansen in Japan really makes you feel like you arrive `somewhere else` as the bullet train just whishes you such a long distance in no time at all from place to place. Then, the purpose of my visit to Kobe was truly to be here as. God opens the Door of Japan to his Kingdom,. Children were blowing shofars,. Many thanks to :).

Personalized Heating Pad |
http://www.willcookforshoes.ca/personal-heating-pad
It was recently recommended for someone in this household that a little heating pad on their injury could assist in the healing process. And specifically it was the little bean/rice/flax seed heating pad (versus electric) that was recommended because the heat that you get from these little heating pads is a moist heat which aids in the healing process. I used a tutorial from this book that I’ve been pouring through lately. Patchwork Please is from Agumi Takahashi – she oversees the blog Pink Penguin.

Life, Creativity, and Getting On With It. Domestic ramblings from rural England. Summer Dress – McCalls M6557 →. Most of the time, the books come home from school, get read, get a comment in the reading record and go back to school. Sometimes a book comes home which makes you think about how life has changed. When you have to explain the front cover before opening the book, perhaps an update is necessary. Questions this book may raise:. What’s a phonecard? What’s a phone book? Back in the old days….

Life, Creativity, and Getting On With It. Domestic ramblings from rural England. Newer posts →. Shall we flit from celebration to celebration? The last post here was at Halloween and now it is nearly Christmas. Well, what have we been doing in that time? Quite a lot and not much are two equally valid answers. But no, I’m sure not. However, back to the present (or at least very recent past). The food, though! But you know what? I’m already looking forward to next year. A month ago I had great plans. I...

Life, Creativity, and Getting On With It. Domestic ramblings from rural England. Art Exhibition →. Summer Dress – McCalls M6557. I’ve been busy! I bought the pattern and fabric for this dress ages ago, when I happened to go into a shop and discover a half price sale on fabric. I love the 1950s full skirts and definite waistlines, so it was a great pattern for me. I looked for a fabric for the waistband as well, but there were none in the shop where I bought the main fabric. I think I might make another d...
