The Seibert Story

Something about turning 6 months has suddenly made Jane seem like such. A big girl. I was packing away some newborn clothes this week and couldn't believe how much she's grown. Here's the outfit she wore home from the hospital. And one more time just for kicks. I couldn't resist. :). Our Janie Bear is sure growing up. She's eating with a spoon now (and loving EVERYTHING she can fit in her mouth). Being so brave for doctor's visits. And sporting some crazy hair curls. TWJ - 6 months. Special thanks to Jan...

The Seibert Story: TWJ 25

http://www.theseibertstory.blogspot.com/2015/07/twj-25.html

These past few weeks have been so rich in relationships- our hearts are full. I have been especially grateful for dear friends to walk alongside in this new season of motherhood, and Jane is blessed with lots of little buddies. :). Jane, you are a part of a great big family and this is an undeserved gift. We pray that God will always provide people in your life to come alongside you- some one step ahead, some one step behind- and that you will never walk alone. We love, love, love this family. Thanks for...

The Seibert Story: 20: Dr. Litfin

http://www.theseibertstory.blogspot.com/2014/04/20-dr-litfin.html

20: Dr. Litfin. During my first semester at Moody, I enrolled in a class called “The Church and Its Doctrines” with Dr. Bryan Litfin. Dr. Litfin's teaching seemed unorthodox compared to how I'd been brought up. I was feisty and argumentative, we were both stubborn, and an unlikely but lasting friendship was born. :). My memory is a bit foggy, but I think this trip to the water park was also included in my job description. :). Of my drama, stories, and tears. But still, he always seemed so genuinely.

The Seibert Story: February 2015

http://www.theseibertstory.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html

Tuesday with Jane - 3 weeks. This past weekend my cousin Liza and dear friend Nibha drove 11 hours through rain, sleet, and snow to hang out with us and meet baby Jane. Liza also happens to be an incredibly. Gifted photographer and, after our pancake breakfast and french press of coffee, she captured these Saturday morning shots. Thank you, Liza and Nibha, for coming. Okay, so technically it's Wednesday. But I'm a new mom so cut me some slack. ;). And so without further ado, this week's Tuesday with Jane.

The Seibert Story: January 2015

http://www.theseibertstory.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html

We’re now less than 2 weeks from due date, and the most common question these days is, “Are you ready? Is it possible to be ready. For such a moment like this? On a physical level, perhaps. We’ve installed a car seat (that’s not. For a child I nanny! Packed a hospital bag, and prepared a nursery to bring our little one home to—overwhelmed with gratitude as we recognize that every single thing in this room has been given to us. But does this make us ready? We’re certainly excited. 8221; wept before India;...

http://weaverfamily04.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html

A Walk Down Weaver Lane. Monday, February 16, 2009. Valentine's Day and a High Fever. Every year, our Sunday School class does something for Valentine's Day. This year, we had a banquet for all the couples at church. It was a wonderful and fun evening spent with a lot of amazing friends. We had food catered by Casa's, which was absolutely delicious. There was a "Most Romantic Husband" contest with 5 of the husbands from the group, fun games which included dodge ball! What could be in there? It was extrem...

A Walk Down Weaver Lane. Monday, October 19, 2009. Apple Picking at Cook's Orchard. Logan and I went to Cook's Orchard with some friends to pick some apples. Logan has been an apple fanatic lately, so I thought it would be a fun activity for him to do. He talked about it all morning before we got there. He loved pulling the apples off the tree (and picking them off the ground). He carried his bag all over the orchard ALL BY HIMSELF! Reaching to grab his first apple! Look at my apples, Mom! This year Loga...

The Edwards: Our little trooper

http://lukeandkristenedwards.blogspot.com/2013/05/our-little-trooper.html

Friday, May 3, 2013. One thing that I frequently find myself saying about Will is that he is a trooper. We have hauled this baby around with us constantly since the day that he was born, and generally speaking (trust me, we have our moments and meltdowns), he remains happy and has such a great attitude about it. He's already stayed in 3 different hotels and at many different family member's houses. Countless trips back and forth to Birmingham (the first one at 2 weeks old). 125 hour road trip to Chicago.

The Edwards: August 2011

http://lukeandkristenedwards.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html

Thursday, August 11, 2011. Visit to the DMV. Austin turned 16 this week, and I went along to the DMV with him and Mom to get his driver's license. Austin was in a separate waiting room with other people waiting to get a driver's license, while Mom and I waited in an outside waiting room that was visible through a large window. Me: "Mom, I'm surprised that we haven't seen anyone walk outside with a DMV worker to take their driving test. how long do you think this is going to take? SWO - 1 month.

Friday, July 24, 2015. I know I already revealed our news on facebook, but I still wanted to document the day of our gender reveal this past weekend. I was so happy to get to spend the celebration with our family and friends back home :). Here's Ross and I before the reveal. He kept goofing off. The pics make me laugh :). Michelle ...

I wish i could fly. I am not turning down the money! I am turning down you! I want NOTHING to do with you! Ever since I met you, everything I ever cared about is gone! Ruined, turned to shit, dead, ever since I hooked up with the great Heisenberg! I have never been more alone! ALRIGHT, IT’S ALL GONE, GET IT? No, no, no, why… why would you get it? What do you even care, as long as you get what you want, right? You don’t give a shit about me! You said I was no good. I’m nothing! Why would you want me, huh?
